That's really depressing if there's any truth to it.

For all the piss taking we do (justifiably) they rarely fuck about signing up managers, unlike our mob.

Ah must be true!

There is a tendency among a few of our more tarty posters to go into full "sperz are now gonna win everything" mode at the drop of a hat.

This sounds like Conte is trying to scare the Inter board into giving him whatever it is that he wants tbh.

If we had any ambition we would fuck Captain Scarlet off pronto and bring this fella in from under the Scum’s noses.

It's the biggest sports newspaper in Italy and not at all like the Sun or the Mirror.

Whomever it may be our mob would hold two rounds of interviews to whittle it down to 2 or 3 candidates. Then have a third round of interviews before deliberating for weeks on who to offer the position to.

Almost every other top club identify one individual that they want and hold talks about them joining.

I'd be surprised if he left Inter for Spurs, to be honest. Gutted too because I'd love him at Arsenal.

Reckon it's all papertalk, given that he's just won the league over there and he probably wants more clout.

Seems the mush responsible for Spurs news with football.london had heard differently - https://mobile.twitter.com/AlasdairGold ... 3589437441

(Graham Potter).

As a serious point, the fact we do rounds of interviews rather than just looking at what the manager in question has actually achieved shows we are clueless. If you are interviewing for a job in a Bank then yes, fine come in for an interview. Football managers speak for themselves. There is no need for anyone to be interviewed. We can all see what they are good at (or not). We don’t have an ounce of football knowledge in the Club management team. Vinai? Just a suit. Josh Kroenke? A joke. No wonder charlatans like Arteta are able to talk their way into a Club like our’s. :banghead:

Yep exactly my point. The club is run as a business, right down to the process of choosing a manager. That's how we ended up with Arteta and not Allegri last time when it was a straight choice between the two.

Football doesn't really come into it as our lot know sod all about it.
