Palace (A) PL 11/01 @ 12:30

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

That was an ankle breaker, if someone did that to one of our players we'd all be screaming red. Awful challenge - awfully timed. Looks worse in slo-mo but it was terrible.
Absolute horseshit mate. Having been on the receiving end of an actual ankle breaker that broke my left ankle in two places and put a three inch tear in my lower calf muscle I can tell you that was not an ankle breaker. It was low, not over the ball, not at pace. Never a red ffs.

Pepe has to go and I honestly don't care where - he is neither closing the full back nor helping maitland-niles
Completely agree, worst £72M spent in the EPL i'm thinking, he is awful, his first touch is woeful, his close control is actually good but when he gets past someone it all goes to shit, he either over hits in or loses it under his feet, he cant find his own players 90% with passes and crosses.... really poor choice buy the transfer team :cussing:

He isn't trying at all. He is a bottling c.unt in a league where bottling c.unts can not ever succeed

It could easily be torn ligaments and months out so it's dangerous.

Not a chance. Every contact isn't a red.

You just hit the nail on the head.
Yes it does look worse in slow mo and that’s how VAR makes it’s decisions.

If the decision had been made by the ref as it should have been then it would be a straightforward yellow and there would have been little criticism from Palace.

VAR has to go - I really can’t be bothered anymore

sokratis is so so bad. a limited, sluggish defender that's constantly a yard off the pace. how many fouls has he given away today just by pushing their player over from behind?

The thing about the PEA sending off is it was a tackle that he should have never been trying to make and if Xhaka had done that we'd have been giving him dogs abuse for it, again it is the same old discipline issue in our team, dont make tackles you dont need to and cards cant be given.
