Interesting fact for you guys:- The river Brun which runs through Burnley is Britain's shortest river :typing:
OneBard and Lefty will like that. A Dwarf river. Who'd a thunk it?

Says the guy who wears arm bands at the kids end

I'll have you know that's a tracking device. 8)

Too far?

I've just broken the british record for holding your breath underwater - 8 minutes 42 seconds.

It all started when a little girl in the swimming pool shouted "That's him, Daddy, over there!"

Ha ha ha. Nice one Lefty.

Burnley is my 'second' team.
I stood in the Longside many a time, back in the day when they were struggling to remain in the league. My best mate is from Accrington.
A full English brekkie at 5 am, a pocketful of E's and charlie and buying all the British Rail booze on the way up from Euston.
Usually a shit game, great singing and if lucky, a run out with the local suicide squad. Best when Blackburn or Leeds visited, and even shiteh were tasty back then.
On the way back to London a perfect ruby at Preston, and then onto the milk train home, with loadsa drugs and spliffs.
I was in my 20's and early 30's back then. Now almost 60, so the drugs aren't an option anymore.
Fuck, yeah. I have an affinity with the clarets. I still have an away shirt.
1-3 to The Arsenal
:)

We played Burnley 1st game of the season years ago and the ground was crumbling worse than heysel ,people were ripping out individual spikes from the fences and trying to hurl them . There was a battle in the long side all through the game .As a kids we retreated to the open end. Burnley itself seemed stuck in the 1930s ,it made moss side seem modern. Went back there for a cup game a few years back and nothing had changed.

Very good up front, still worryingly weak at the back. I'd imagine Arteta is having to go for the 'let's try and score a few and hope that does the job' tactic.

Torreira is on the bench Guendouzi starts, very surprised with that and Ozil starting.

Just try and get the ball up their end and don't let Luiz or Mustafi anywhere near it if it's anywhere up our end.

Looking forward to our players getting crippled by these northern shitehawks, followed by the wonderfully witty rendetion of Same Old Arsenal, always cheating from their inbred supporters!

That is a booking but of course, we didn't do it, so it can't be.
