That is quite a feat choking on your own penis .It is not always good having an Anaconda size penis. The other day when I got out the bath I tripped over and pole vaulted out the bathroom window.I also have to tuck mine in my sock which causes problems whenever I meet a beautiful woman as I accidentally kick her.

With all the talk about Covid passports for dual vaccinated supporters in crowds over 16,000 where does that leave people that want to take their kids to a game . My first match was when I was 8 and a bit , If we want kids to get bitten by football and they are too young to get the jab . Where does that leave them ?

Over here you can bring your unvaccinated under 18 kids out for a meal or to the pub as long as they are with vaccinated people. Major protest over here yesterday against the whole vaccinated passport issue and the rules that are in place to stop unvaccinated people being allowed indoor dining and indoor pubs - my feelings havent changed in that over 18s who refuse to get vaccinated should not have nor expect the same freedom as those who took the vaccines to get that freedom

I'm all for adults getting the vaccine or not, personally I'm double jabbed, but I am against forcing it on children without far more research into the long term effects. The guilt tripping going on right now is extremely undemocratic and may have far reaching consequences in the future.

Forcing people to be vaccinated is not right, whether you believe it is safe or not, it goes against everything I believe of in terms of democratic and human rights and it is certainly not what I spent 17 years of my life serving to protect :cussing:

I completely understand the fears of the minority of clinically vulnerable but their needs cannot be used to dictate what is expected of the other 60+ million people of this nation...... otherwise where does it stop :rubchin:

Technically speaking though they are not forcing people to get vaccinated - yes it can be said that it is a form of pressure by exclusion, but people can still refuse to be vaccinated. There are things that people have to do regardless of age or democracy - people cant go into different countries without passports, or cant drive without licences, so why should this be any different ? Yes I get that it is injecting something into a persons body as opposed to paperwork like drivers licence, but we are talking about safety measures to protect the majority being prioritised over the perceived rights of the minority.
Personally I believe that there is a LARGE number of people now in society who want to protest and oppose anything and everything, and they are people that I view with absolute disdain - if a person privately opposes getting the vaccination they have my total respect, but there are others who object to everything and this is the latest vehicle they want to attach themselves to. A large number of these people are the same people that you will see in the middle of those people fighting and campaigning for an ott pc agenda and that are sucking the joy out of life for the rest of us

Augie the difference between a passport or driving license and a vaccine is stark and shouldnt ever be thought of as similar. Other vaccines exist which people are not coerced into taking no matter how foolish we may feel of their CHOICE, however the current debate in some places in the UK is to insist you must have a vaccine to carry out a job you may have done for years or to enjoy an activity you have a lifelong passion for, that smacks of dictatorship.

One thing that is never mentioned is the very small percentage of those who the vaccine will not work for or who cannot for medical reasons have the current vaccine, a big theme of the covid fallout has been peoples mental health, for those who are unable to have the vaccine if these passports are enforced internally within countries those people will effectively become second class citizens we might as well put yellow stars on their chest or put up apartheid type signs saying 'vaccinated' only, how will that affect those unable to be vaccinated.

I understand where you come from and in a personal sense i agree with it but I also playing devils advocate cannot accept enforcement or coercion of citizens in such a way. A tenet of our supposed liberal democracies has always been acceptance of differences of opinion, viewpoint or beliefs and it worries me that the Western World and it's supposed Democratic leaders and many many of their citizens fail to see that this sort of enforcement is exactly how things happened under National Socialism and Communism in the previous century. The end does not always justify the means!

All of which is all well and good , but my question is more personal , I have a 9 year old nephew that is mad Arsenal ( poor boy ) plus I have two season tickets. I want to let him go with his double jabbed Dad for his birthday but can't find out anywhere whether this is permissable.

I can't help but feel that the passport is inevitable for foreign travel mainly because other countries are likely to insist on it however the position of children is not clear there either. If the Costas or the Islands want British pounds then they are going to have to make a decision on letting families travel.

Given that the vaccine doesn't prevent transmission of, or someone being susceptible to, the virus then a vaccine passport is entirely pointless.

I dont want to be a vaccine apologist, but it was never gonna be a cure or preventative - the vaccine reduces the risk of a person catching it, lessens the effects of covid if they do contract it, and obviously a person less likely to get the vaccine is less of a risk to the older and vulnerable population than someone who isnt vaccinated.
Now if it turns out the the vaccine doesnt make a person less likely to contract covid, and/or it turns out that the vaccine doesnt lessen the effects of the new variants, then all bets are off for me and I will be as anti the vaccine campaign as anyone

Exactly, which proves the point bout the pointless aspect of a vaccine passport.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not anti-vax at all. I had my first jab in March and then they stopped giving Astra to under 30's (which I am until the end of the year) but I refuse to play Russian roulette with the "you can mix vaccines" thing. So, I'm in limbo lol. Despite being pro-vax I'm very skeptical of this Covid vaccine, and I don't like the pressure being imposed by the media and Governments linking a vaccine is linked to "freedom." Whether or not you agree with vaccines, that's chilling.

I'll get my second when I finally can/when they fix or or whatever. However, given that double jabbed people are contracting Covid still, and can just as easily spread it, goes to show that the idea of a vaccine passport has nothing to do with public safety.

Safety possibly not but peace of mind definitely.
Nobody wants to spend their life looking over their shoulders wondering whether the people around you are as safe as they could be.
If there’s evidence that the risk is lower then more normality can return.
