As much as our defence gets criticised it’s the midfield that I would focus massively on in the summer, needs a complete overhaul.

It's most likely to be City now as they're 2-0 up with 15 mins to go.
An FA Cup tie at home to Manchester City back in the day would've been something to look forward to but now it's a foregone conclusion that we'll get a hammering.
Not that we'd fair any better against any of the remaining teams with the pathetic defence Arteta persists in playing. Haven't we got some defenders in the under 18's that could do better? Or anywhere else in our academy because they couldn't do any worse than the fucking shite we have in our first team.
Then there's the hopeless midfield which is a topic by itself for discussion.
In actual fact the only decent players we have at present are Leno & Martinelli who are both injured and out for the rest of the season. (No, I'm not making this up).
Anyway, who really cares about the FA Cup this year as it will be played in an empty Wembley stadium so what's the point of that?
A cup competition without any fans to share it with is a dull object.

Good to get City out of the way before the final.
I’m confident we will beat Chelsea or United in the final.

We'll beat City, get United in the final, and the referee will be...

Todays results mean its almost certain that top 7 will get a European place and if citehs ban is upheld it'll be top 8.

Got no nails left. We were hopeless in the second half against those high balls into the box whether long throws , free kicks or corners. Lucky to get through. Who cares really ?. City could field a reserve side & beat us.
Re: Sheff Utd A FA cup Sun 28/06 ko 1pm
Delighted to be into the semi final and keep the season alive, albeit gutted about the draw. United are absolute shite and there for the taking and Chelsea can be anything between woeful and brilliant on any given day. City showed last week the gulf that exists between us and them and we know Pep takes the cup's seriously enough to know that any suggestion of weakened teams or taking it easy won't happen
What a pleasure to watch a game without Hector Bellerin mincing around in the back line - can we have more of the same please. Also seemed to me like Holding won plenty of headers when he came on - will this lad ever go on a long run of games and establish himself in the side......would like to think it could happen. Once Calamity Luiz went off I thought there looked like there was more order. Tierney also looks to be settling back in. Pepe has to be in the side for all the games now - the end product might not be there consistently, but boy does he draw some fouls from defenders and we always look more threatening when he's around
The less said about Lacazette the better. If anyone is still interested in him, I suggest we make moves to get rid in the Summer. Get Auba back in the middle and hopefully Martinelli can return as good as he was before and give Eddie one season to see if he can cut it. Would definitely need a 4th striker though

I don’t think the FA cup finalists get the place anymore if the winners are already qualified for Europe - or did you mean the league placing for Europa will go down to 7th ? If so, ignore mefalkirk goon wrote: ↑Sun Jun 28, 2020 11:05 pmTodays results mean its almost certain that top 7 will get a European place and if citehs ban is upheld it'll be top 8.

SteveO other than the literally free header which he misjudged like an U11 player and resulted in their goal.
Kolasinac got hammered but as a full back are you seriously expecting/reacting to your CB stood a few yards in front of you missing a free header from a ball thrown in from the touch line?
