Any game with ElNanny and Xhaka as central midfield will be tough but against a top team it's impossible. He has to get AMN off and get Saka on, ideally Xhaka off and Ceballos on too but it won't happen.

We are not going to get anything defensively from our two central midfielders, so may as well throw Ceballos on and we may get something going forward from him..Luiz was obviously picked to play long balls over Liverpool's high line. Nothing positive to take from the half. Except maybe we are actually still in the game despite everything.

So we usually turn up and capitulate from minute one in these games, but today is death by a thousand cuts. We are a shit show in midfield and defensively. They'll grab another couple in the 2nd half anyway so why aren't we having a bit of a go. On a sidenote, who the fuck wants to listen to the thoughts of Carragher and Keane, two absolute wankers.

Funny that Leeds played these cunnts and had more of the ball than them and deserved something out of it and for me were the better side with apparently lesser players than us.

Yet according to most their manager is shit.

Can I just say, to sum up what has been said so far, xhaka and elneny was a shit selection, arteta's tactics were wrong, holding is nowhere near good enough, and maitland-niles is shit (I dont agree with that btw) - these are players that have been core pieces of our failing team for years and yet here we are still having them shoved down our throats. It's a brave new world people
