Wolves Wallapurs H Sun 29th Nov KO 715pm

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

That hurts when you are not braced for the impact. Possible concussion and whiplash too poor fucker.

Absolutely ridiculous that you have to make a substitution for a player who has been knocked out after five minutes. It should be a free sub and you keep the three usual ones.
Or you could argue that is the reason for 3 subs.
Up until 1995 only 2 subs were allowed each match

Should side show really be left out there?

Fuck Maradona, the wife beating druggie, get on with the football.
I’d say the reception would have been fairly mixed in grounds up and down the country this weekend if fans had been in.
Maybe yeah although compared to some of the nonsensical silences I’ve endured at football grounds over the years (the Pope & Mandela for example  ) I’d say not observing and respecting it for the greatest player to ever play the game (by a country fucking mile I might add) would be pretty laughable.

Seeing poor Jimenez stricken with concussion, it takes your mind back to the Leeds game and how fortunate that Leeds player was when violently head butted by Pepe

I know Pepe was a dick, but was tapping the guys forehead really worthy of a red card and a 3 game ban ffs?

I think you're right Rodders, Luiz could well have concussion. Ought to be a compulsory 'free' sub.

and also, Xhaka looked badly affected by it so he should be a mandatory free sub now as well 8)

And better than having one or none like those stories of players with broken legs wandering around for twenty five minutes like they always seemed to have in the 50s. When did they let you make 3 subs rather than the 2? I remember when they brought in the 2 subs and the keeper but if you had a keeper sent off or injured you could bring on the keeper but only one more outfield player.

Seems hard to believe he should even be allowed anywhere near professional football most weeks let alone tonight.

Nice guy, great ambassador and a brilliant and iconic player .... but not even the best Brazilian IMO. Garincha, Zico, Ronaldinho and the real Ronaldo were arguably better 8)

Tierney looking very ordinary. He is good going forward but not special defensively
