Site and forum performance

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Site and forum performance

Post by xgtdec »

Just checking and feel free to delete but has the gooner site and forum performance gone the way of the actual team?

It seems to wait forever to load anything and if your lucky enough to get to type a reply anywhere its 50/50 if that reply even gets loaded up

It could just be me.....anyone else?

Same for me.

It took 36 secs from hitting 'reply' to get into this page.

I am having the same problem. I tried to report it to Rob but it wouldn't allow me to message him. Perhaps Edu and Pep Light have taken over the site.

Thinking of upgrading my dial-up to a broadband connection, would that help?

This website is now shocking with its response times.

I thought that it was because of the hosting company getting hammered with page requests like back in the HostGator days, but when I am getting it on a very slow Tuesday evening, there is an issue with the hosting company.

I'm not entirely sure but I think some of the media moguls in the West End have it.

I still like the screeching and wailing sound my modem makes while trying to connect. :D
