So instead of resting him against a understrength geordie team (even at full strength they are shit) in the cup, we play him and miss him for the more important game - top class management there

No comments about mari being out injured again ?? Thought after all the comments slating martinelli last saturday that there would be at least that many against a player with an injury record that is every bit as bad :rubchin:

It’s not ideal is it - hope the defence can just pop it over the top of that “midfield” into the front guys ESR / Saka to work a bit of magic.

We will miss Mari and Tierney tonight

Shaky enough team on paper,Ceballos, Luiz, Xhaka. Holding could suffer relapse with them boys around the place.A lot depending on Laca and Aubameyang turning up and getting a few goals.

Yeah he should of rested our best player by a country mile on the night in a game in a competition we have an outside chance of winning.... of course if we'd rested him in that match and lost you'd have been criticising him for resting our best player, you're reaching now Augie.....

Just a tight calf for Mari, he will be back Monday. He’s not gone down crying, hammering the turf in agony, sitting on the bench with a protective boot on only to then rock up to training the following morning injury free 8)

Fucking Maitland-Bendtner is an absolute bluffer of a foobler. He's the new Comedy Iwobi. Shapes like he's got it but never delivers the right run, the right pass, the right cross, or the right shot.

Pisses possession away. :x

If that’s a foul then every time a player touches another should be a free kick.
