Matt Ryan did very well today and should no doubt keep his place for the next game. However what I will say is that MAYBE this sucking of martinez's cock should be looked at again considering how he had fcuk all to do

Arteta is a shit manager no doubt, but fcuk me his in game management is the worst I have ever seen - he cant seem to recognise who is shit and who isnt, he cant seem to see changes in a system that are needed, and he just stays with what he has even if it is a dogshite ineffective plan

Willian, pepe, bellend, xhaka and (to a lesser degree) cedric need to fcuk off or be fcuked out

1 step forward, two steps back. This is Arteta and it will be the same all season. At some point next season, maybe just before Christmas, they will look at our 12th place and say mmmmmm......should be doing better and eventually they'll fuck him off along with Edu. They'll probably go cheap to replace them......Paddy as manager, Overmars at DOF.......rinse and repeat.

Fucking hell just watched the replay of the Martinez / Lacazette one.

That is an absolutely blatant foul the other way. No question.

Expect GunnerRob will be on shortly to explain how unlucky we were and that we had more of the ball and should have won with a promising performance. Rob? Rob? You watch that shite today?
73% possession and still we cannot score. Nuff Sed.

Haha yeah and they'll stick with ex-players who have more favour with the fanbase in an effort to take the heat off of them, if any of the people they approach have any sense they'll avoid working for KSE London franchise at all costs!.

Nothing to add that hasn't already been said by many others. Yet another insipid and clueless performance that we've seen so many times before.

The football is every bit as bad now as it was 10 games into his reign. Slow, lacking any imagination, players almost looked 'over coached' and playing in a straight jacket.

Keep believing it will get better. Keep believing the mighty 8 games unbeaten is the sign of a team pushing for the top 4.

This is a team that deserve to be where they are, a modern day Everton. Out of the cups, bang in the middle of the table, never going down, never getting back into Europe. Give him the whole of next season and it won't be any different, but dream on if you think differently

Some random thoughts on the game...

Can’t believe how easily we allowed Villa to take the lead 😠 dozy pass by Cedric, dozy defending by Gabriel, dozy marking by Holding. Sums up the clowns we have in defence... compare that to Villa’s defence putting their bodies on the line time and time again

Once that goal went in, you just knew villa would sit back and we’re shit against teams who do that as we’ve got no creativity and no presence up front. we huffed & puffed and predictably scored a blank again

Odegaard looks decent on the ball... until he shoots. Shocking. He’ll fit in well with finishing like that!

Partey stunk the place out again. Awful signing so far but clearly there’s a class player in their if he can stay fit.

Pepe has his moments but that awful first touch in stoppage time summed him up. Retard

Really worried we’re going to lose Martinelli. If Pepe is picked on the left, and Auba, and Willian... where does martinelli fit in? Signing Willian makes less sense with every passing week.

Fair fucks to Peter Dickhead Walton, it’s not easy to look at this and say it’s no penalty but he managed to do it with a straight face. Top pro.

Tbf buddy, I'm not sure what gabriel could do for their goal unless he came out and cleaned the villa guy, and getting a booking after 2 minutes would have seen him slated too

I actually mentioned it at the time but the similarities between this and the Saka incident are fucking uncanny, occurred on pretty much the same blade of grass!

Only one saw red though.....

Gabriel didn’t make a decision. He could see the villa player and he could see the pass from Cedric was short so he needed to react.

He could have attacked the ball or backed off and filled the space... he did neither; he stood in no man’s land and the villa player simply coasted by him like he wasn’t there.

Way too easy.
