I know some will disagree but on current form i'd play Laca ahead of Auba every week, he links the play and holds it up so much better. Auba is all about goals and when he is not scoring then offers very little else.

Thought Laca and Odegaard were very good today, Chambers was much better second half and privded some excellent crosses, Tierney did his best but with Auba so disinterested in front of him was on a hiding to nothing. The other two midfielders were dogshite and the defence was woeful for most of the game. We were very lucky not to concede again in the second half but on the other hand there were a couple of chances we had which if we had been more composed we should have scored.

Arteta will be wrongly praised in the media for his 'game managment' getting us back into it but in reality it was the attacking players who did most of it.

Well at least the team put some effort in to turn that around. Several times we found the way through but for some reason the players didn't read it. Lacazette in the middle flicking it through the middle for Saka or Auba to run onto yet they didn't read it. Then chambers sent in three excellent crosses and no one running onto it. .
However, 3-0 down and to come back to not lose was a mighty effort. Odegaard has become the main man already. Justifies him coming on on loan but what good is it for next season?
At 3-1 down I thought we could've won it. We had the chances but again failed to take it.
