As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Normally I'd be saying we need a new manager but I'm bored of doing that and really, if we ended up with someone who had no managerial experience last time, I dread to fucking think what we'd get next time. So, here we are, just stuck. Yet again. Not going forward, no hope, no manager worth any time or thought would touch us. We'll stagger on like this until November when we appoint Henry or Vieira.
A leaderless team, managed by a novice, throwing 11 strangers on to a field.
7 changes this game....how many the next?
Mat Ryan the most pointless loan deal since Kallstrom.
Right backs at left back
Willian ahead of Martinelli
Bellerin as captain
Who on earth would expect any different?
Still this clown is allowed to carry on - absolutely unbelievable. Honestly the manager and owner combined can take this team down to the Championship next season
Needed leaders out there shouting at players to stay alert for those final few minutes.
That would never ever have happened when Tony Adams was captain.
The worst thing for me today though was to receive an email from the club 2 hours before kick off announcing the Arsenal golfing range
I mean wtf
We are no longer a football club but an American owned poorly run business venture.
It had been said before but the club died in 2006 when we left Highbury.
There is no self-awareness from anyone to do with Arsenal. If you worked there and understood football you would be ashamed to admit you were an employee of the club. The decline is shameful and everyone to do with the club has played a part in it. There is zero pride. Just every fucker picking up the maximum wage they can get their hands on. It’s a Ponzi scheme.
Just don’t know what to say any more! Just a shame there aren’t any fans at the games to let them know exactly how we feel.
Saddest thing is that it’s hard to care any more and that is shocking.
Clueless management, thick overpaid players, blah blah blah. Just can’t do it every week.
Fuck the lot of them.
Thing that should bother the club most is the body language and apathy that seems to be growing with the younger players - they are learning from senior players that I feel are a bad influence and that cant be good. When you look at "superstar" players like auba strolling around, or willian and pepe not giving a shit, and xhaka continually being picked regardless of how shit he was, it sends the wrong message to young players who need to see the consequences of succeeding and failing
Same soundbites....nobody is listening mate, least of all the players
It does all feel very end of days now, I’m getting that same feeling I did when Wenger and Emery’s reigns were coming to an end.
The players are going through the motions, there’s no desire, the game plan is a mystery and I wouldn’t fancy us to get a win against anyone right now.
