Welcome Kieran Tierney Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

What a great player with a fantastic attitude...only worry is these injuries he keeps picking up
Him along with Saka and Martinelli are the future

Although he did nothing spectacular I thought he played well against England, didn't see him make a mistake in the match. Again just showing how calm and assured he is.

IF both he and ESR can be signed to long term deals it might actually be the best things to come out of the transfer dealings this summer

Kieran Tierney has signed a new five-year contract with the Arsenal.

Tierney on why he signed a new contract: "The vision of the club and where it wants to go, the expectations of the club. Where I want to be in football is at the top. There's no doubt we aren't where want to be right now, but we're going in the right direction."

I would say we are heading in entirely the other direction, aren’t we?

I wonder which drone at the club helpfully wrote that for Kieran?

🚨 EXCL: Kieran Tierney to have surgery later this week on knee injury, ruling him out for several months. Will miss remainder of Premier League season & potentially Scotland’s #Qatar2022 qualifying play-off vs Ukraine proposed for June @TheAthleticUK #AFC https://t.co/9UehZm7bO8

What a shame. Tierney is a great player when fit but his fitness level is not good enough for a team trying to compete for anything. Get a new full back and have Tierney as a back up.

Gutted for him. This is a disaster for us. Says it all about Nuno when you'd rather have Xhaka at LB for the rest of the season.
