Some guy on SSN there saying he was told one of the owners of the 6 was at a game and had to ask what colour were his team playing in because he had no fucking clue.

Has to be Kroenke.
To be fair (although why should we) it was probably because we play in so many different kits in so many stupid colours.

Has to be.

Not going to be Abramovic, Glazer, Lewis or Mansor and unlikely to be Henry.

What a fùcking mug he is. :cussing:

Interesting to see how magnanimous FIFA, UEFA and EPL are to the clubs. Interestingly as well with the failed power play achieving absolutely nothing it almost guarantees that the even shitter ECL and other European competitions will go ahead in exactly the format UEFA have proposed, thankfully we are likely to be out of it for the foreseeable future.

I'm interested to know though if pen was put to paper on the financial side of the deal what recompense will be needing to be paid and who will be responsible, collateral will need to have been guaranteed against the $4B base fund including guarantees of some sort :rubchin:

"You know they have just sneaked a 36-team Champions League with 225 games & VIP passes for two ESL-type clubs past the lot of you, right? Quick, they're bringing the joint venture with UEFA & £5bn private-equity stake in next. Look into my eyes, not around the eyes etc" - @mjshrimper (The Athletic journo).

Funny how when their revenue income is threatened UEFA and FIFA play the "football is for the supporters" card.
And, any of the big 6 supporters who were against the ESL because of the "earning the right to play in Europe" argument are hypocrites that accept playing in the Champions League despite not being Champions. Surely, to earn the right to play in the Champions League, you have to be Champions?
Liverpool won the Champions League twice when they weren't Champions, and as for Spurds!!!
Anything that opposes the rotten organisations of UEFA and FIFA I will always be in favour of, whether Arsenal are included or not.
With every argument against the proposed ESL, there was a better footballing argument for it.

So disappointed with the shit Auba pulled tonight. Fucking grim reading that shit.
Our players are embarrassing as the owner.
Meanwhile every Liverpool player has posted their opposition on Twitter.
So, are they going to hand back the champions League medals they won in 2019? Are the heck! Hypocrisy of the highest order. They weren't Champions. This is how UEFA has put one over on the footballing community. Funny how a team finishing 3rd in a "big five" league, gets in the competition for Champions ahead of the Champions of smaller, poorer national League winners. That's really spreading the wealth.
At least the ESL was showcasing exactly what it was proposing to do.

So, if UEFA ban Arsenal from qualifying to play in its competitions for, let's say 5 years because of wanting to break away, how many supporters will protest against UEFA?
My guess in no one will.

Glad it's finally falling through. Now there needs to be real change. I've heard a lot of people saying the clubs should be kicked out of europe or given points deductions etc. They shouldn't be. That punishes the wrong people. Liverpool and Chelsea would have been two of the "winners" from this but their fans were out protesting. They don't deserve to be punished. The players and managers seemed to have no idea, they shouldn't be punished either. Some like rashford and Guardiola took a risk by speaking out about it.

What does need to happen is a proper look at football governance in this country. These owners have been coming here with the super league in mind, it's always been the end game. They see the market in Asia and in America and think they can take English clubs and move them to a franchise system. Had it happened there would be arsenal games in Asia, they might even move the whole club. These people are a threat to our clubs and to our pyramid and they need to be driven out. Whether it's legislation, whether its official fans groups having to agree to material changes like those proposed, something needs to happen to take the game back from these parasites and to ensure it can never be proposed again. I fully expect the "legacy" fans of the clubs involved will let the owners know exactly what they think of them. Kroenke tried to drag arsenal's name through the mud, to cast aside its reputation and history, I look forward to seeing you throwing the fucker out on his arse
