Euros / Ingerland Hype

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Sweet, sweet jesus - can someone please get this c.unt off the tv screens  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footb ... match.html
That vapid empty cùnt is everything that is wrong with the modern game. An actual proper footballer (not the fake female kind) nearly dies. She makes it about her. :censored:
She's always enjoyed that, and the new world we live in allows her half-baked opinions to go u challenged.

It's so forced watching the tart that there in a dress and heels and say "we need to press the Croatians..."

We all know the pattern of play.England will go through, the hype will increase, flags in cars and house windows ,the sun having a let's shove it up them headlines.Beer throwing crowds in town centre s.Every non football fan suddenly becoming experts.it will be all over the television and radio on the day of match and then the inevitable crash with a dodgy decision or penalties included. Then there will be wailing in the streets and a mini riot somewhere with whatever nation that beat England having there restaurants or cars being smashed up or in Holland's case sex shops. Then the non football fans will be disgusted with the rabble and get on with watching happy clappy Wimbledon and think no more of football until the next tournament.

Fellow Oirish Gooners go onto RTE now and just listen to the worst main commentator on planet Earth. Yep she's female and has a voice like glass being scraped down a blackboard. :censored:

I defy you to last more than two minutes. :puke:

Football is fucked. :banghead:

Same basic shit happens in Oireland John. Minus the hooliganism and wrecking restaurants. Although we do have a lovely increase in casual drunken street and pub violence every time. :censored:

You are talking about dublin there buddy cos the vast majority of the country will only go on the beer and make tools of themselves - for the most part there is no real increase in violence from a regular weekend night

I concur - I tried to switch over to ITV on my sky box but it (and a few others) no longer seem to work under extra channels so I switched over and watched fools and horses "Hull and Back" episode 8)

Unfortunately it's country wide augie. When Oireland are playing there is an increase in pub violence, drunk driving related accidents, assaults, and domestic violence.

Yeah it’s annoying.

See on a website that an Arsenal star player has ruptured their cruciate… click on link and start reading… “Arsenal star Stephanie….”…. Close link as no shits given about the plight of poor Stephanie…. Curse the bastard website for wasting 30 seconds of my life with irrelevant news.

Then poceed to open link about Arsenal signing a new striker… see the striker is called Maria… close link

I see rat face neville and the papers in general praising southgate to the hilt, with neville actually saying that england have a great chance because they have southgate as manager  Granted I didnt see the second half, but the first half showed exactly why southgate is likely to be more of a hindrance than a help - for years england suffered as a result of a lack of genuine creative players, and now that he has them he goes and picks 2 defensive midfielders  Foden is not a winger - yes on paper citeeh play him there, but the reality is that citeeh's system allows him to move centrally more often than not. On what planet is mount more creative than grealish or foden ? Mount might run around more, and he def covers back more, but isnt that the job of rice and phillips ?
