Where's Chapman's documentary?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Where's Chapman's documentary?

Post by Nos89 »

Watching the documentary called the "The Three Kings" based on the stories of Shankley, Stein and Busby building Liverpool, Celtic and Manchester United football clubs respectively post war. When is there going to be one on Herbert Chapman. The man who pioneered the blueprint on building a super club. Pre- WW2 The Arsenal were the world's first super club with international appeal. Chapman built the club, from which the "the Kings" could only copy and follow. Chapman is hugely underrated in the part he had in the development of post war football. He deserve a proper documentary, asserting his prominent position at the top of the football manager chain.

Yep a true pioneer was our Herb.

And it isn’t just his achievements with Huddersfield and The Arsenal that he deserves recognition for.

Substitutions, numbers on jersey's and floodlights, to name just three, were all down to him.

Who knows what else if he hadn't died at a relatively young age?

But he didn't manage one of the media darlings did he.
