Hibby spoonburners A Tues 13th July KO 6pm

Decent watch that.

Hibs, like all these teams, taking it far too seriously with some scandalous challenges but we dominated the game.

Pepe a good second half, continuing where he left off last season. Smith-Rowe driving us forward. Some fine hold up play from Laca. Partey unlucky with a 30 yard free kick that cannoned off the post.

Henry-Francis (a new name for me) came on with about 20 minutes left and looks very promising. Driving forward from midfield and always seemed to look for a positive pass.

Overall a pretty good performance for the first pre season and a far better workout than the usual Boreham Wood or St albans.

Was it not the usual turgid shit fest that we usually endure Clummo ?

I am praying that we have a bit more attacking endeavour this season, most of last season was so so hard to watch.
Not at all mate. It was a pretty fair performance. Lots of good movement and fast interchanges.

They were moving the ball quickly , Partey was playing a little further forward , unlucky with his free kick and Pepe despite doing a lot good work was lackadasical with his penalty . Smith Rowe ran the game but both their goals were avoidable.

Well they were wearing numbers but no names on shirts. Partey had the 5 but everyone else the same as last season as far as I noticed.

The team has a rick in it. Nothing has changed nor will it change. Too many average bits of deadwood floating around. If we get any injuries these clowns will come in. Don’t see us getting shot of any of the dross either.

Kolasinac has certainly shed a few pounds and lost some bulk. His shirt was hanging off him.

🔴 Arteta on Smith Rowe’s Arsenal future: “He will stay here, 100%”

🔴 Arteta on Willock: “Joe is part of our plans, he’s our player”

🔴 Tavares paperwork wasn’t ready for today, should play on Sat

Nearly 600 passes & only 5 shots on target, same old shite from Captain Black. :barscarf:

Respect to Hibs for the Saka shirt. :barscarf:

The famous 'paperwork' is never ever fucking ready at our place. We'll still be hearing about how "we're waiting on one or two small issues to be sorted out with the paperwork" next March, about a week before he plays twenty minutes and gets injured for the following 18 months.
