It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.
I played bass in 4 piece band, also sang part of our set, made up of few Rory Gallagher, Neil Young, AC/DC, Whitesnake, Sabbath numbers.our lead guitarist went on to session in the states, back home now he does classical recitals, when not pissed
Our first gig was supporting "Toe Jam" a local top drawer band, (the late gerry anderson, norn iron broadcaster was their bassist, great player and great voice)
We all fell out after about six months and despite forming a few more bands, we never went beyond rehearsing.
Sorry sid, this is a guitarist's thread. No 4 string drummers please.
Bastard!!!
No No NO! Sidney..
It's Uncle Dirty Bastard.
Ahh! That's what the DB stands for! Was that his stage name?

That was before he became famous as Nancy CuntyFinger during his Dwarf Drag Period
Looks the part, bit too Eddie Van Halen / Sammy Hagar for me though.
That's not tape sid, that's paint!
As it's a tribute to Eddie Van Halen, a copy of his 5150, it probably should look "a bit" Van Halenish!!
Wanted one since I was 15 years old buddy.
My next project will be a Les Paul with quilted Maple top, dye stained with a blue / green tiger burst. But trying to source a quilted Maple LP body is a pain - and very expensive....

Rory Gallagher's battered old Strat, that would be my dream!
Doubt I could play it though! Too many strings
