RIP Aldo Maldera (14 October 1953 – 1 August 2012)

He spent a large part of his career with A.C. Milan. He played also for Bologna F.C. 1909, Internazionale, A.S. Roma and A.C. Fiorentina, and won a total two Serie A titles, at AC Milan and AS Roma respectively, both under the tutelage of Nils Liedholm.
He represented Italy at the 1978 FIFA World Cup, and Euro 1980.

RIP Bernd Meier
Bernd Meier (11 February 1972 – 2 August 2012) was a German footballer.
He spent 7 seasons in the Bundesliga with TSV 1860 München, Borussia Mönchengladbach, LR Ahlen and Borussia Dortmund.
On 6 January 2010 was named as the new goalkeeper coach of SV Wacker Burghausen.
He died on 2 August 2012, of an apparent heart attack after being admitted to the hospital for food poisoning. He was 40. :shock:

Sir John Desmond Patrick Keegan OBE FRSL (15 May 1934 – 2 August 2012) was a British military historian, lecturer, writer and journalist. He was the author of many published works on the nature of combat between the 14th and 21st centuries concerning land, air, maritime, and intelligence warfare, as well as the psychology of battle.
