In honour of Babs perhaps the BBC should show a run of all of the Carry on films and see how the youth of today react to Kenneth Williams and Charles Hawtree camping it up all over the place.

Well we have a right carry on at The Arsenal, but not sure it is in her honour

Gerard Houllier. A sad loss. Always seemed a genuinely kind and polite man who came across in a dignified and respectful manner whenever speaking about other teams. I remember he and Wenger were very close at the start of the 21st century and did a lot to improve English football.

Agreed 100%. One of the few mouser* managers I've ever respected and liked. Very sad loss. RIP.

Won't reveal his name for privacy reasons!
Lad that I work with, fell down the stairs at home last nite, broke his neck.
Leaves behind his missus and 2 little kids.
RIP lad!

Surprised no one posted about Leslie West, died 23rd December 2020.

Co-founder of Mountain and songwriter/guitarist extraordinaire.

Influenced many of the the heavy metal / rock bands from the 70s forward.

Check out 'Mississippi Queen', 'Don't look around', 'Nantucket Sleighride' and 'Theme from an Imaginary Western', but don't play them on your phone, put it through speakers and crank it right up. Their 'Best of' album rocks like few others even get near, and so is a great place to start.

You'll wonder how the f*** you never heard them before.
