Re: The Giroud Question
By the way i believe Arsenal released a statement saying the stewards at the Man C game were only there for security reasons and therefore by forcibly confiscating banners they exceeded their authority and technically committed theft as they had no legal reason to remove your possessions, there may also be grounds for saying they assaulted you by taking those items off you.
Those of you involved might want to point that out to the club and ask for the offending stewards to be removed after all i believe there is photographic evidence out there,
I think it is time you started pushing back against the club as they seem to think they can do whatever they want these days to paying fans, sorry customers.
(Mods can you move this as i seem to have put it in the wrong thread )

Re: The Banner
Anyone doing anything on Sunday regards to banners? PM only.
Not really expecting anything from BSM or RedAction as they've had there 15 minutes of fame.

How to confuse the club's militant AKBs:
Hold up a banner saying: ''COME AND PULL THIS DOWN IF YOU AGREE WENGER MUST GO''

Not sure that you will get a lot of people approaching you with a banner like that.

Re: The Banner
DT has recently said he won't be taking any banners to games next season. He'll wait for it to go all tits-up again and he'll say 'You [AKB's] wanted this, you got it'.
Still, I hope banners are ever present until TOF goes.

Re: The Banner
Just reading on Twitter that Arsenal are trying to identify the people who had anything to with the banners and take away their memberships, now how true this is I don't know, but just thought I'd put it on here.

If it is true it genuinely doesn't surprise me, although on what grounds they'd be able to carry it out i'm not sure.mcdowell42 wrote:Just reading on Twitter that Arsenal are trying to identify the people who had anything to with the banners and take away their memberships, now how true this is I don't know, but just thought I'd put it on here.
I'm fairly sure that we are still allowed to legally protest peacefully in this country, and i'd also ask what they're going to do about those who were violently attacking those with the banners.
To be honest i'd actually like to see them try because i'm fairly sure the media and the ambulance chasers would have an absolute field day
Re: The Banner
If that was the case, cannot see they can do that personally, legal action would be required...start up a defence fund for a good briefGoonerMuzz wrote:If it is true it genuinely doesn't surprise me, although on what grounds they'd be able to carry it out i'm not sure.mcdowell42 wrote:Just reading on Twitter that Arsenal are trying to identify the people who had anything to with the banners and take away their memberships, now how true this is I don't know, but just thought I'd put it on here.

It wouldn't surprise me at all - They have used underhand / dirty tactics - the only kind Clueless knows to Prevent Gooners from Protesting against their Lord & Despotic master....
I'm sure they have their briefs rifling through many legal tomes right this minute to see if there is something that can be done to prevent any repeats next season.
Time for a Groundhog Banner.

Can they refuse membership ? Does it work like a private members club where they can accept / refuse who they like ?
Fuck em, I've resigned from them anyway.
