The ''no one is coming'' Transfer Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Genuinely believe we will sign Xhaka.
I don't get it. It's a lot of money to spend on a midfielder when the whole world and his mother knows we need a world class goal scorer. :banghead:
The 'Whole' world?

He means the whole real world not Wengerworld.

By the way has anyone clocked that last year after an eternity we finally got the missing GK we've been screaming out for, this year it looks like we finally might get the CDM, so next year we might finally get a new CB and then in two years the CF we need, that means only another two season of Giroud up front

It won't work out, he shoots from outside the box and everything. :(

Have to agree, looking at that montage he also does some flicks and turns which actually work and involve the play moving forward quickly so he's definitely not our type of player

I'd also like to point out he doesn't seem to lose possession very much or fall over when people get close to him, he also appears to have a good range of distribution and forward passing which means Olly might actually have to run occasionally, so most definitely not our type of player

He appears to have good awareness of space and also vision of teammates (particularly in wide area's ) a fan off the cross-field ball or lofted pass.

With a decent wide right player - he could be a very astute purchase.

Guessing that end our interest in Kante at Leicester then ?

Never seen him. What sort of a player is he?

Sadly you can bet that Ramsey will still be crowbarred into the side regardless of how poorly he plays and how badly he fits into the side. Wenger likes Coquelin so he will always be in with a shout so unfortunately for Elneny it doesn't really matter that he's been our best CM over the past few months.

Granit, we love you
Granit , we do
Though you may be far away
We think of you

There's no one quite like Granit
And I know you will agree
That he always is a friend to you
And he's a friend to me
There's no one quite like Granit
He's there in times of need
Before it's fulltime, on the pitch
For us a tackle he'll make

:barscarf:

Naaah me either - I don't rate Morata as some people seem to - Good yes, but is he the kind of striker to best suit the way we play....Besides I have no confidence in anything that wenger does, says or even hints at - he is not an honourable person and has consciously deceived many people about something that they hold very dear THE Arsenal...a club that was in existence long before the cuntt was born and shall be in existence long after he (and all of us) are pushing up daisies....I just hope that when he is eventually gone - That we as fans and the club can recover the Class and Honourable Quality and Characterists we were once the bench mark for.

Talking of shooting from outside the box - Did anyone else notice wenger throwing a mini-tantrum when Elneny had the audicty to shoot from 20 yards against villa.....
