Probably it is done, but Vardy doesn't want to hack off all the Leicester fans, or get serious grief when he's there, as he is meant to be focused on England, not club matters.

The AFC transfer committee might act like Mr Bean at times, but even they wouldn't allow themselves to get into this position and be held out to dry.....
Course they could - They are amazingly inept when i comes to transfers - a prime example being the derisory and insulting £50k + £1 - or whgatever it was for Suarez - had they made a 'proper' offer he would have come to the Arsenal - dick law is a wankerr end of and wenker a tightwad arrogant fuck.

I could do it better than laws he is a feckin' Joke. :banghead: :cussing:

Best case scenario; Vardy has signed but wants to wait until after the Euros to announce it.

If he hasn't we should be out there making offers for better strikers, to either sign them or hurry him along.

If he doesn't make a decision, the principled part of me wants to tell him to fucking well fuck the fuck off.

However, the 'Wenger has beaten me into this pathetic state' part of me would hate to see us pull out of the deal only to see Manure or the Scum step in.

What a shitty situation we find ourselves in. I hate AW, the Board, and I sometimes depise myself for still caring.

If he had signed it should be public knowledge , i think Leicester might well keep, him and it will show how far we have fallen.

Mind you if he moves that has got to make a judas on the scale of RVP judas.

Not really.

van Persie gave way too many years of his career to a mostly limited Arsenal side, finally moving before it was too late to actually win a league title in England at a club that could.

Vardy is 29 and knows Arsenal are probably going to be in the Champion League for a few seasons, while Leicester will finish 8th after selling Kante and Mahrez, replacing them with worse players like Victor Wagamama and promoting that young kid from Birmingham in place of Mahrez.

MASSES of loyalty shown by van Persie, as opposed to him being a Judas. Being a Judas would be going to Tottenham, not Manchester United. Meanwhile Vardy is being sensible and also owes Leicester nuffink beyond the Premier League title he's already helped them to.

I just don't understand the whole deal at all to be honest. I want a younger, better, top of the tree striker. Is Vardy that much of a step up to the mediocrity we already have on our books??

Griesmann for me please (and Simeone too) please.

I can't agree with you there. As stated before on here RVP sat on the treatment table collecting his huge wages and when he has his first injury free season he questions the clubs ambitions and heads off to Manchester

I figured it wouldn't take long for that story to be linked with the vardy fiasco

Tbh I think an opportunity has presented itself and if we had a more ambitious manager I would be more confident about taking it - up to tonight I assumed that aubameyang wasn't available and even if he was then he would be signing for Madrid, but now it turns out that he can be bought and not necessarily by Madrid either. A club with the resources of ours should be moving heaven and earth to try and do this deal regardless of cost - as I have said for years, it isn't just about getting in players but being perceived as being able to attract the top players. Contrast that to our present situation with vardy and it really highlights close up of how we are perceived by players that have options and not necessarily transferring for financial reasons

Unless vardy has actually signed the contracts already, I really want us to pull out of this transfer NOW - yes I realise that he might then sign for one of our rivals (the scum desperately need strikers too), but right now we have f.uck all to gain by waiting and everything to lose. I dont blame any player for hesitating before signing for us, but we need to stop wasting time waiting on a deal that should have been done by now. Waiting around now smacks of desperation and no big club should act in this way

On a separate issue, can you imagine how Dortmund fans are feeling tonight ? So far this summer they have lost hummels, gundogan and now look like losing Aubameyang as well - that right there is the spine of their team and it has been gutted. How will it affect the future of Mkhitaryan - the Armenian wants out and has just 12 months left on his contract so the rumour was that they are willing to sell. Now after losing the other 3 players, can they afford to lose him as well or would they prefer to write off the £20m transfer fee that they would get this summer in favour of keeping him to settle the team a bit for next season ? Everyone knows that we are supposed to be interested in signing him, and if he is as good as rumoured then we should be watching this situation big time

I wouldn't be surprised if it's a done deal... They wouldn't don't want the announcement and repercussions/distraction just a few days before a big tournament

Surely ending the speculation by announcing a decision makes more sense than having this hanging in the air for the next 3 weeks ?

Its all part of the transfer games we play year in year out. If he has signed, leave it later into the summer break. Announce to soon, and everyone moans business done etc etc.

This is the one that we've been waiting for.

Nigerian midfielder Kelechi Nwakali 18, to sign a 5 yr contract. Cost 3m.
Apparently has already had a medical.
I hope that he has a last minute offer from Hull, and snubs us.
Daily Express.

WENGER OUT :banghead: :cussing:
