The ''no one is coming'' Transfer Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Yep. I thought I had a decent chance with Ana Ivanovic this summer after her early Wimbledon exit but alas she has other commitments.

I'd sign up to another 20 years of Wenger if it meant having a go on her  :barscarf:
:coffeespit:

You have to say that the talent pool of available players is getting very low very fast - even if we had a manager that would be willing and committed to bring in quality players the list of options isn't great, but when you have a lifeless w*nker like we have then it adds up to another disgraceful transfer window for the Gooners  Every top club in Europe is getting their transfer window business done, but our lone decision maker is out adding more jingles to an already bulging bank account :x
It's going to be a last minute scramble to find a big name after others have done their business. This is how Wenger operates.
I wouldn't count on any serious names being signed at all. A couple of promising players and that will be it. Arsenal are no longer a big draw , if Vardy turned us down that sums it up.

Excuse me but it wasn't Vardy that turned us down it was Hercules the horse that pulls his cart...When they told him they'd be moving to london to work for a French fella - The Nag said "and you can fuckrightoff I'll end up on his dinner plate".

Lukaku??!! Giroud-Lite!

But don't worry, Wenger will get him for less than they want, but then pay the useless cúnt £120,000 a week. Only £120,000 though - if you wanna earn the £140,000 a week like Theo you gotta put in a 10 year shift like Theo!

Hope we do sign Lukaku! It would signify the End of Days (finally!) and we have a song for him already - to the tune of "Vieira - wo-oo-oo-ooh"

"Lukaku - wo-oo-oo-ooh
Lukaku - wo-oo-oo-ooh
We signed Giroud Lite
a lazy bag of shite
Lukaku - wo-oo-oo-ooh"

:barscarf: :suicide:

Now, if the ropey as fuck scanning in line 3 of that doesn't drag my lazy-holed, junkie, fellow-mod Hlebby out of his grief-bunker to do some work on here then nothing on planet Earth will!

Cheers mate, I don't know anything about Lacazette, Lukaku isn't bad but not the next step up we need although he may well prove me wrong.

Saw a suggestion, rather than a rumour, that Arsenal may be interested in signing a free agent from Turkish football.. One RVP... As I say it was a suggestion thrown out by an Arsenal supporter on Twitter... Nothing surprises me with Arsenal.. He is free which ticks the most important box..

Lukaku and Lacazette are the kind of bindipper or Scum signings I would just laugh at usually. Now, it's the height of Wanker's ambition.
