Giroud absolutely stinking up the place for the French tonight, that rest AW gave him has done wonders.

Can't wait to welcome him back into the team on Saturday, I've missed the finger wagging, ear cupping and quiff arranging so far this season.

He was awful last night, any other player would be low on confidence after that performance but Arsene will put a loving arm around his favourite son and give him a start on Saturday..

Should Arsenal not have insisted on their French and German players not playing over the weekend as part if their rehabilitation from Euro 16? After all players were rested and then after a couple of gamesmanship back to their international squads..

And the sticking out of the tongue thing - You know when he tries to look at his tongue to see if there are any clinkers on there from where he has shoved it up wenger's Arris.

I hope Lucas goes straight into the starting lineup and that he continues the run of our last 3 great strikers ( Wright, DB10 and TH14) by scoring his first league goal against Southampton.

And Marc Overmars..not a striker as such but a scorer of some very important goals..

Optima stats show that Marc Overmars did more effective attacking play with the ball last Saturday during the Legends game than Theo Walcott has managed in 10 years.

would love to see a first start for perez too. southampton defenders know how to defend against giroud but perez being an uknown entity could be really interesting.
