Southampton (H) | PL | Sat 10 Sep | 3pm

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Agree with the scoreline but not the scorers cos I reckon giroud will score at least 1  Tomorrow will give perez his first taste of what his first season will be all about.........he'll be left on the bench (as a back up to giroud  ) until the 65th minute by le cock, who will then bring him on and expecting to win games on his own

It's not gonna happen I know, but can you imagine how funny it would be if they turn us over tomorrow after wenker practically getting the Southampton job for puel

Two weeks ago I suggested (before kick off) that this was going to be the season where continually changing managers and players, was finally going to catch up on Watford as they drift back into the championship - I reckon this season is where all the changes will also hit Southampton bad, and even though I know that they wont be relegated, I still think that they will be nearer relegation than the top 10

70th, why fiddle with something that doesn't work. That's where Wenger is such a genius. if something doesn't work he persists with it...... otherwise it looks like he was wrong initially.

no Wanyama bossing the midfield thank fuck!!! I think we will win and as mentioned Giroud will now turn on the style 4-1 to the Arsenal and all in the Wenker garden will be rosy, talk of a title tilt, champions league glory to follow, then a massive comedown against PSG ,typical Arse

I do wish he'd get rid of that useless wanker wallnut - That would be a decent line-up if it wasn't for that headless chicken twonk.

But great to see Perez getting his first game and the CB pairing of Mustafi & Kos being given a go. Early days I know...But it has to start somewhere..
