with each passing year this gets more and more depressing. five players with the necessary ability hugely let down at this club.

When you look at that, 5 young British players, in their prime, with technical ability, they should be our so called "Golden Generation", instead they are barely worth a golden shower between them...Henry Norris 1913 wrote:with each passing year this gets more and more depressing. five players with the necessary ability hugely let down at this club.

Oh, except Gibbs. Gibbs is just plain shit limited. Absolutely stealing a living as a footballer more than anyone else at the club.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
You would also have to wonder how long would a top manager keep them in his squad - I absolutely agree that gibbs is limited but I would say same about Jenkinson, but it is ramsey and wilshere that most question marks would surround imo. Personally I do not believe that ramsey could ever be a success in a 4-4-2 system because he lacks the discipline and strength to play in a midfield 2 - I also don't believe that he is good enough to play the number 10 role (behind a main striker) for a big club because big clubs would have ozil type players in that position, so if I was in charge I would sell him cos he would bring in big money to allow me to buy players more suited to my system.
Jack is a similar scenario imo although he would probably be better in the tackle

I see you used his full name there...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
When it comes to Ramsey, I think a lot of his problems are down to Wenger's lack of player management. Generally when a player is playing shit, he is given time on the bench to help him regain his form, but when it comes to Ramsey, Wenger just starts him, no matter how shit he is. In addition to that, he even starts him on the wing, knowing that if the opposition have a pacey winger, Ramsey will get destroyed. I think in Ramsey's mind, Wenger constantly starting him, means he is playing well, and doesn't need to improve. When it comes to the Ox, he potentially could be a good player, but it isn't going to happen with a clueless *word censored* like Wenger as the manager. As for Wilshere, until he has a run of games without injury, its hard to say whether he should remain at the club, after his loan spell with Bournemouth ends. As for Jenkinson and Gibbs, both are out of their depth, and should have been sold ages ago.Henry Norris 1913 wrote:with each passing year this gets more and more depressing. five players with the necessary ability hugely let down at this club.

Depressing is the right word.Henry Norris 1913 wrote:with each passing year this gets more and more depressing. five players with the necessary ability hugely let down at this club.
I've got a mate who has a son that is a really promising player. If any of you have the same, would you want him joining Arsenal at this present time?
Somewhere like Southampton would be a much better choice and how tragic it is to say that.

"Liverpool are set to miss out on Wales Under-19 midfielder Ethan Ampadu, with Arsenal favourites to sign the 16-year-old. (Liverpool Echo)"
yet another young player with oodles of potential about to be ruined by Wenker's methods of full lotus meditaion techniques and express yourself in a creative way on the pitch approach.

I wonder if he is related to Dublin's legendary Gunner Kwame Ampadu - whom I believe is coaching with the Arsenal Academy?OneBardGooner wrote:Talking of which....Henry Norris 1913 wrote:with each passing year this gets more and more depressing. five players with the necessary ability hugely let down at this club.
