It doesn't really tbh. Even if we were top of the PL and playing brilliantly, there would have been a noticeable drop off in attendance for this dead rubber game. Let's not misconstrue a few thousand non-attendees at a dead rubber as proof the waverers are onside with getting rid of Wenger, or that the non-attendance has anything to do with the protest - beyond those protesting at the march obviously. There is still huge work to be done to convince them and bring them into the fold.StuartL wrote:HopefullyHerd wrote:theres going ot be thousands of spare seats
That on its own is a protest of sorts and speaks volumes.

Just speak to the security checkers and ask them to be extra cautious which will delay entry by 20 minutes. Oh they are and do anywayPete on the beach wrote:
One angle i will pursue and urge others to do the same , is if we engage with with supportive fans outside, who still have tickets encourage them to ( politely of course ) go into the match 10 mins late, for once the issue of supporting the team is not relevant due to the 1st leg score so we might get a fair few takers

Re: Wenger Out protest, Tuesday 7th March.
I think someone mentioned protesting outside the directors entrance (it is impossible to protest at every entrance so I think this is the best option)
certainly this protest needs to be more visible directly outside the stadium instead of just outside the Armoury - this will just be dismissed by the club as people "unconnected with the club"

I think it is a bit late to be changing the plan now, I would stick with the original plan and maybe refine it for the next protest.Gunner Rob wrote:I think someone mentioned protesting outside the directors entrance (it is impossible to protest at every entrance so I think this is the best option)

The next one?? Wenger will see next Tuesday that he is not as popular as he thinks and he'll be off. The club always come first....Wenger knows that.NickF wrote:I think it is a bit late to be changing the plan now, I would stick with the original plan and maybe refine it for the next protest.Gunner Rob wrote:I think someone mentioned protesting outside the directors entrance (it is impossible to protest at every entrance so I think this is the best option)

Yes, this is a mid-week protest and so if the next one is on a week-end more of us can be present!Gunner Rob wrote:fair enough - as you say this is really just the start anywayNickF wrote:I think it is a bit late to be changing the plan now, I would stick with the original plan and maybe refine it for the next protest.Gunner Rob wrote:I think someone mentioned protesting outside the directors entrance (it is impossible to protest at every entrance so I think this is the best option)

Going to have to be sustained and relentless protests because a 2 game "winning streak" will see him pulling the pen out of his pocket. They will need to be almost every week, win, lose or draw.OneBardGooner wrote:Yes, this is a mid-week protest and so if the next one is on a week-end more of us can be present!Gunner Rob wrote:fair enough - as you say this is really just the start anywayNickF wrote:I think it is a bit late to be changing the plan now, I would stick with the original plan and maybe refine it for the next protest.Gunner Rob wrote:I think someone mentioned protesting outside the directors entrance (it is impossible to protest at every entrance so I think this is the best option)

I honestly felt like having a banner made having a right go at Gary Neville but I don't want the message diluted. WENGER OUT!!

How about outside that entrance for the Lincoln game?OneBardGooner wrote:Yes, this is a mid-week protest and so if the next one is on a week-end more of us can be present!Gunner Rob wrote:fair enough - as you say this is really just the start anywayNickF wrote:I think it is a bit late to be changing the plan now, I would stick with the original plan and maybe refine it for the next protest.Gunner Rob wrote:I think someone mentioned protesting outside the directors entrance (it is impossible to protest at every entrance so I think this is the best option)

But as Exissential said this HAS TO BE a Sustained Effort - Even if it means we all arrange to be present (And Protest) at different games so all the games are covered, but on week-end games as many of us turn up as possible and be as vocal as possible (Polite BUT "LOUD")
So they realise we are Not Going Away and that protests are for the duration - that duration being till firstly wenger is Gone...and then we move onto the next - Kreonke and Gazidis (aka Satan's Spawn FuckWank Child).
If there are enough of us it CAN Be Done!

#WENGER OUT!
Re: Wenger Out protest, Tuesday 7th March.
It is now or never so good luck with the protest . He has not signed yet , if enough noise can be heard and the media report that will be a start .
Last season it all fell, short and we were obviously in the minority , we will see if it has changed

Re: Wenger Out protest, Tuesday 7th March.
We weren't in the minority, just that so many bottled speaking up, through respect, fear or apathy. Then booed like fuck at half tim when it was nil nil, hypocritical twats.shu wrote:It is now or never so good luck with the protest . Re: Wenger Out protest, Tuesday 7th March.
Seriously lads - all of you that have been slaughtering Wenger on here for years PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make the effort to be there on Tuesday night.
This is our best and perhaps only chance to rid our Club of this Eternal Loser but we'll only do it if there's a decent turnout.
We cannot carry on like this

Agreed .... I'm hoping that result, that first half performance and dropping Sanchez has added at least 5,000 to the protest.Jumpers For Goalposts wrote:Seriously lads - all of you that have been slaughtering Wenger on here for years PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make the effort to be there on Tuesday night.
