Hey we support the same club. I knew when Dein left we were fucked. I hoped I was wrong but time has proved that right. Dein wanted Arsenal to be the best and from 1983 until 2007 he did a great job. Yes Wenger in the last 10 years has made mistake after mistake but all I'm saying is Kroneke does not care if Arsenal win the league. Being rich I agree is a very successful operation but we are now becoming a laughing stock.armchair wrote:Wenger has never "had to sign kids"
His vanity project had begun well before Kroenke arrived. Dein himself has gone public and admitted Arsenal were never skint fuck sake.
He always had money to spend, the board has always made money available to the manager, just like now and he has and still does refuse to spend, dither or waste it.
Something wrong with Arsenal making money? I like the fact Arsenal are one of the richest clubs in the world. That part is successful.
The part that is failing is on the pitch where another manager may prosper utilising all the money and facilities at his disposal.

They're not backing him to finish fourth fuck sake. You talk like they want him to finish 4th. You think they'd be dissappointed if Wenger had won the league? Its Wenger who declared 4th as a trophy remember? Not anyone else. Its Wengers target.sk-gtfo wrote:
Why are they backing a manager to finish 4th?.
Have they invested any of their money into the club - No
Do they have total contempt for the fans (aka customers) - Yes
Stop talking bs, we can agree on Wenger out but seriously your pro-board propaganda is quite vomit enducing.
Kroenke hasnt invested any money? He bought the club mate.Hundres and hundreds of millions investment. He owns it.
As for contempt for fans? Week in week out I hear Wenger disrespecting me, blaming ME for HIS failures. Blaming everything and everyone else for HIS inadequecies. So Wenger as much as the rest treat fans with contempt.
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Yea if only Kroenke wasnt in America counting his cash then maybe Wenger could set up for corners better. Or let players play with injuries like hes done with Sanchez and before with Cesc.
Yea thats Kroenke that is.

Is there anything to suggest that they actually paid for it other than the fact that they are based in HK like 7.5 million other people?
Latest tweet says specifically not Jardine group of HK fans.
It's Twitter though, you believe what you want to believe.
Here's the Twitter account of the alleged organisers. It's a new account with one or two re tweets of the club's official account. Not that I care much but it all looks rather suspicious.

We do need changes in the squad, but we have a good squad of players who do not know what to do tactically. It has been that way for a very long time. With a proper coach, that would change (hopefully for the better).supergeorgegraham wrote:What scares me is that Wenger leaving fixes one problem but not the big picture. I don't see a new manager winning the Prem without massive changes to our squad. They are on very good money so who would buy the ones we need to get rid of.
We have a board only interested in money and not success so there will be no support to build the best team.
Finally the new manager will find he does not get the support he needs and probably end up our Moyes.
Anyway Wenger still needs to go and I don't know how he can justify his support for our group of overpaid tossers apart from Sanchez who still cares

They are backing him to finish 4th, what else is one to conclude when that is exactly what they have done for the last 12 years and there have been no repercussions for the failure not to compete in the league or Europe?. None of the other so called big clubs would put up with this from their manager. They backed the incompetent fool so they are as much to blame as him.armchair wrote:They're not backing him to finish fourth fuck sake. You talk like they want him to finish 4th. He invested in the club by buying it?, lol how does that help the club grow?, how does that help the fans who pay through the nose to see us accept 4th place?. He bought the shares for about £450m and now they are worth around £800m (ish), I am not interested in him getting richer, he's obviously no fool in a business sense, but in a football sense? - maybe, maybe not, I think personally he just doesn't care that much, is that an excuse?.
I see no justification for backing an owner who has put up with Wenger's nonsene for so long and has not put any of his own money into the club, whilst his handling of the current situation is rank amatuer at best, as I said though perhaps he's just not that interested, god help us.
The sooner Wenger goes the better and that is in Kroenke's hands, if we go get Allegri (or whoever) and win the league/cl in the next 2-3 years I'll admit I was wrong, nothing at this point would suggest this is likely to happen. His US sports teams are mostly poor/average so what makes you think he'll have the drive to make Arsenal a serious club?, sitting on his backside and saying get on with it Arsene is not good enough.

Remember the guy we signed who was actually injured. Also where's fox in the box and the Brazilian left back who was swapping shirts at half time?

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Imagine Kroenke telling Wenger to make subs on 70mins no-matter how the games going.
Or telling him hes gotta sign Sanogo.
Or telling him to play Sanchez with an injury cause he "insisted"
Or maybe insisting he sign Kallstrom even tho hes crocked.
And its Kroenke who wont allow Wenger to do defensive training so we dont get murdered on corners.......
And Ive heard its Kroenke who tells the players to just "play your game" and dont do tactics or in-game management.
When we're gettin beat just throw on as many strikers as poss and when we're winning just bring on defenders. Too work Stan!
Q. "Arsene what would you do if you were goven £100 million."
A. "Give it back."

Even the handshake between Pulis and Wenger yesterday was embarrassing for him.
Pulis actually feeling sorry for Wenger. It was like Fergie after the 8 - 2.
Little sympathetic pat on the back. "There, there Arsene. Dont let those nasty people upset you"
Joke.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
He was in the press backing Wenger before the game. At least Pulis has smartened himself up...they used to complain that Wenger refused to shake Pulius hand when he was at Stoke, I think Wenger used to mistake him for a ball boy.StuartL wrote:I reckon Pulis said "see you next season then ?"armchair wrote:Even the handshake between Pulis and Wenger yesterday was embarrassing for him.
