The one thing that makes me laugh is the we want our Arsenal back,89 they fucked over the clockend ,92 the north bank with the talyor report, the success of GG team and Dein and the rest of the money men were rubbing there hands at the potential and then the euros took the game to more of the middle/upper classes,,before Wengers time.,in a nutshell The Arsenal ,my Arsenal and football was changing and changed why we were all to busy winning trophys.
and one more thing,i have never wanted A Arsenal manager sacked, not Neill he gave me the best time supporting the Arsenal with the cup runs as a teenage boy just starting to go to away games, many great memories,Don howe ,Arsenal in the blood but I watched the football so I understand why people wanted him out
modern football is a *word censored* and I could moan and groan about it every minute of the day,but then I thought why should I be so unhappy about something I love so much, and decided that i would watch with my bias Arsenal blinkers on and there getting bigger,im going to palace monday and want a win ,champions league in it to win it and another load of great trips with the good Arsenal people i travel with 2 wobs 1undecided and me so far up Arsenes arse i cant see the light, then on to Wembley and hopefully a win over city and we are 1 game away from a record 13 fa cups and my mate Arsenes 7 in 20 yrs,

so please excuse me for not joining the protests and the social media circus but the Arsenal and me have some big games coming up

Fair play to you if you want to support Wenger, But two questions:
1) Why do you still support him?
2) Does it really not bother you that we are always out of the title race and champions league by March?

But exactly the same thing happens every year. Do you not question why and what could be done about it?

OK. Rather than the annual hurt and the need to get over it, would you like our prospects to improve, so that the hurt may have more chance of being replaced by success ?? :rubchin:

Nick I support the Arsenal he is the manager, the fa cup has been de valued with the structure of the modern game but I treat it the same as I have always done and we are still in it so my season is not over yet ,

If he went at the end of the season It would not cause me any sleepless night ,I applaud those of you that have organised the protests but the social media circus is not for me

Well Herbert, at least you appear a real supporter of Arsenal rather than a follower of some deranged personality cult. But that doesn't detract from the damage this cult is now doing and the infinitely greater damage to come in the next two years if he stays.

Sanchez at Chelsea will be the least of our troubles.

Retro , the answer is yes but just like millions of other fans
people will say but you support the Arsenal and the move was for more success, more spend and a bigger club in Europe ,show some ambition but I have supported worse Arsenal teams than this and because of spend profit, wages, sit down shut up,i have to view it differentlly?

Fair play herbert. Thats how it used to be for me. Unconditional support. Celebrate the victories. Cry at the defeats.
Joy. Sadness. Frustration. Anger. etc....
The full gamut of emotions. Loved it!

Unfortunately Wenger has taken most of that away from me over a long and difficult period of him believing he is the club.

Ive recently started taking my 8yr old to matches with me and its soooo refreshing seeing things through his eyes.....
theres none of the shit politics about Wenger.
No AKB or WOB or #flipflopper
Its just support the team.

When I brought him to his first game against Hull and he walked up the steps to see the pitch for the first time, I could hear him take a deep intake of breath and say WOW! Couldnt wipe the smile iff his face. Just like I did when I seen Highbury the first time.

And your point about social media. Its a pain in the ass sometimes but unfortunately thats the way it is these days. Its a necessary evil if we want to get rid of Wenger. Also this forum you're posting on is "social media" and I dont think any of us are involved in a circus"

I suspect this view is probably the most common one in the stadium, I have certainly heard it quite a number of times.
Can't say I agree with it but I would certainly respect (that buzzword again) it.
