I had a very similar moment back in 2007 and stopped going in 2008. Nothing since then has made me think I made the wrong decision, and certainly not a couple of poxy FA Cup wins against dross. Haven't spent a penny since going to games, and even stopped accepting freebies as it felt wrong to accept my friends largesse when I detested Wenger and Kranky so much.

Holding Suarez,Neymar and Messi scoreless for 180 minutes and as Rodders pointed out above he lost it with a player who carelessly lost possession in injured time...
Proper defending is as good to watch as exciting attacking play.. Reading the game, closing out space, winning individual duels, putting the bodies on the line getting blocks in..We saw it all last night..
I think if he arrived in North London he wouldn't lose patience with Ramsey etc he just wouldn't waste precious time on them..."listen Aaron we got a call from.(insert club name) and in the best interest of both parties we have accepted their offer"
Theo, Gibbs. Monreal, Giroud, and many more would be getting that message..
But it aint happening, Juve have Allegri and we have Wenger.. End of story..

all this crap about Allegri and Simeone not being suited to the way Arsenal play football :banghead:
actually the traditional way Arsenal always played football until the French fairy took charge was based on a strong defence, and strong leadership.

this has all but been extinguished from the modern Arsenal PLC. funnily enough we are no longer able to compete for the top trophies in world football - LIKE WE ALWAYS USED TO FOR DECADES BEFORE WENGER ARRIVED

When asked about his contract in today's press conference:

"I haven't told my players anything - my commitment is total and I'm only focused on Arsenal,"

I wonder if he ever considered that maybe his contract situation is having a negative effect on the players, especially those that would most likely be kicked out under a competent manager? :banghead:

The cun.t becomes more and more unbelievable and more despised with each passing day.

Talking of which: This sounds about right for the Fool In Charge.

BBC Website:

"Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger reportedly turned down to the chance to sign midfielders N'Golo Kante, 26, who is now with league leaders Chelsea, and Thomas Lemar, 21, now with Monaco, for a combined £12.6m only two years ago. (Sun)"

The press....where do I f**cking start....they have to to start to call him out a lot more aggressively. I've know him to be a control freak for many many years, he is not pleasant company, he is nasty man as that video link showed above, anyone who questions him is removed from the club pretty quickly. The whole situation is laughable when I'm sure we could employ someone like allegri and a decent sporting director a la overmars for the entire wage of Wenger. Jesus, it's not rocket science, but we can be assured there will be a silver lining if he stays as we will be complete and utter w**k n next year and he will be sacked by Christmas.
I Regret to say that that is now never going to happen in the sense that you and I and probably most others on here think what a 'Football Club' actually is.

Gone are the days and we are but customers whether we like it or not. Okay, so it is not just football that this has happened to, BUT Arsenal FC has been a HUGE part of my life and I miss it.

He was actually asked if he had told potential new signings that he is staying and the way he paused and his eyes widened  was so childlike, it was as if he was thinking "this guy can read my fucking mind" it was a very tell tell moment :|

Allegri on the sideline kicking every fucking ball until the last second of play - contrast that to our mummified geriatric with his zip and rubber band
Yup, in the 87th min when Mandzukic kick a aimless ball forward he exploded and nearly elevated..

amazing how we always seem to be linked with these players AFTER they have signed at other clubs.
the thing is though even if they had signed for us, they probably wouldnt have been coached properly by Wenger anyway. they have had a lucky escape.

^^^^^ This 100%. Kante would have played in every position except his correct one and would have had the mandatory spell on the wing that every new boy gets....I'm surprised that Cech and Ospina weren't stuck out there for a few games ! Then he would have been in and out of the side constantly, just to ensure that he could never find his groove and become comfortable in the team.

By now, we would all be saying what a pile of crap he is and complaining that Il Duce had bought another cheap dud.

Ah yes, Arsene Wenger, the man who specialises in ruining careers.

Well said, Retro 8)

I'll never forgive him for how he handled Arshavin. Why play a number ten on the left wing? :banghead:

TOF is such a hindrance to the Arsenal, it's not even funny. Just 41 days left on his current £22,802.20 per day deal :censored:

That would be about 20+ players out of our squad right there.... :|
