THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I wonder if he ever considered that maybe his contract situation is having a negative effect on the players, especially those that would most likely be kicked out under a competent manager? :banghead:
That would be about 20+ players out of our squad right there.... :|

You're being kind by referring to them as 'players' as well mate. :?

Your right we are a sporting franchise !

Yep A R 6 for many many years, do you remember Richard the big guy with the radio shouting out the scores. Sadly I heard he died a few years ago. I went to the the Emirates for a couple of years then that United semi made me realise that we were utter shite under Wenger and always would and I was done.

The press....where do I f**cking start....they have to to start to call him out a lot more aggressively. I've know him to be a control freak for many many years, he is not pleasant company, he is nasty man as that video link showed above, anyone who questions him is removed from the club pretty quickly. The whole situation is laughable when I'm sure we could employ someone like allegri and a decent sporting director a la overmars for the entire wage of Wenger. Jesus, it's not rocket science, but we can be assured there will be a silver lining if he stays as we will be complete and utter w**k n next year and he will be sacked by Christmas.
Been in a coma the last 10 years have we? :D

Unfortunately not, I wish I had been given the shite that has been served up.

These days I get more pleasure out of the Arsenal in my Fifa 17 career than I do the actual club  :(

Honestly, you couldn't make it up. I could paste tens of links on here basically saying the same thing in reference to most of the important games played over the last 10 years. 2-0 after 10 minutes massively bottling it. The following sums it all up very succinctly.

It left Arsenal's plans, plus Wenger's bold promise of a "magnificent" performance from his players, in tatters as they were simply unable to cope with the power, pace and energy produced by Sir Alex Ferguson's side.

This was worse.

Don't forget we had the chance to kill off the tie in the first leg against 10men.

Wenger's tenure is littered with near misses and what could've been.

This sheer unbridled arrogance and spite, really does make you wonder why the press are always so lenient with him. They seem to never ask the second and third follow-up questions, to really drive a point home.

When you watch something like this, you realise what a truly nasty character he is. All this bollocks about him being such an erudite and charming character, is quickly shown up once someone even remotely puts him on the spot. I've come to detest the man. A dictator and a sociopath. I've said it before, but a shrink would have a field day with the egotistical nutter.

Well said Retro. I noticed two horns sticking out of his forehead.

Can you imagine what this maniac is like in private and why people often say he's very ruthless at suppressing any dissenting voices.

I'm past the point of thanks for the memories to a big two finger salute and good riddance whenever he eventually announces he is leaving.

Ah the start of our annual anal reamings in the last 16  we beat them 3-0 at the bowl in the return leg though :barscarf: brushing our Milan bumholing (with no lube) under the carpet in the eyes of the sheep  wankers.

The old *word censored* is apparently upset that he hadn't had more public support during this "difficult period". Fucking shit up you vain, needy, pathetic, whiny *word censored*. He's the complete bully dictator now isn't he? Give me praise, give me praise, love me, love me, tell me I'm amazing. He's like a modern day Louis XIV or Henry VIII, massive ego, total power and tantrums every time he doesn't get his own way or exactly what he wants all day every day.

he just doesn't seem to get that for a lot of fans this "difficult period" has been going on for YEARS!
fair enough if we had won 2 or 3 league titles under him during the last 13 years, but considering we haven't even mounted 1 title challenge in that time what the fuck does he expect !!!! :banghead:
