Players may believe if they can finish well then it will rectify the ills of December to April. Build up some confidence for the final. Let's hope so. I'd absolutely love it if we could finish above Liverpool.
And there it is...everything that is wrong with our fanbase. Finish above Liverpool means Top 4 and we all know what that means...... That's the problem with the modern Arsenal fan...they want to beat everybody, yet they want Wenger to go...Well they kinda do, if he gets Top 4, he can stay, he deserves another shot, after all is 20 years really enough time???
What is wrong with you????
Stating I'd love it if we could finish above Liverpool has nothing to do wenger staying or going, or top 4 as they could still finish 6th and finishing 5th above them would be a joy, given that the spurs will finally finish above us. We all know you're a Liverpool supporter as you always throw your wenger fanbase shite dummy out the pram every time a poster wants Arsenal to win or finish above a certain club, especially Liverpool. I always enjoy finishing above Liverpool and spurs more than any other clubs. Nothing to do with wenger.
Fucking grow up...if you weren't so laughable I would actually respond.
I believe that is a response. Not everything I want to see the club achieve is a reflection of my feelings on Wenger. If you can't understand that then there really is no hope for you.
As long as Wenger remains at the Club, there's no hope for any of us mate. I was reading a similar debate on the Utd match thread yesterday, about being able to enjoy the victory, but wanting Wenger out. Personally, I don't enjoy victories anymore, because any minor positive, no matter how ultimately insignificant, shores up Il Duce. As we well know, a run of 6 catastrophic results, can be off-set by Wenger, his adoring acolytes and the board, by a single win against anyone, even non-leaguers like Sutton and Lincoln. Likewise, 8-2, or 10-2 defeats, can be dismissed as "accidents", then conveniently glossed over and forgotten.
Wanting to finish above Liverpool or anyone else, or wanting top 4, while wanting the Fraud gone is counter-intuitive. It has to get worse to get better. I and others on here, have said that we'd accept anything other than relegation, if it meant getting rid of Wenger, so I'm only bothered about finishing above Liverpool if they were 18th and we were 17th. I also don't buy this notion that it makes no difference to whether he stays or not. Of course it does. Maybe not this year, maybe not next year, but consistent inexcusable failure (comfortably out of the top 4, behind all our perceived rivals etc), must eventually see him gone. There must be 20% of the seats empty while we're 6th, imagine what it will be like after 2 years of 6th, 7th, 8th or worse. No one said that getting shot of him would be quick or easy, but pressure from us and a continuing on-field decline will eventually do the trick. In short, wanting him gone, but wanting even some on-field success, is incompatible.
Nos, I hope your attack on Xisstential was an unconsidered reaction to his criticism of your view. You have every right to hold and defend an opinion, but you're out of line in the crass accusation that he's a Liverpool supporter, or in any way anti Arsenal. Take it from me, we all owe this man immese gratitude for the time, effort and personal financial contribution he has and is making to these protests. I know for a fact, that no one has done more. He's as red and white as any of us and I don't mean Liverpool red and white.
Now let's all make up and be friends again.
