As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If he stays said one..it will be groundhog day next season.
You guys are waaaaay behind, our Groundhog Seasons started almost a decade ago.
I'm assuming you mean only the TalkShite commentators because Alan Parry, Niall Quinn, Nigel Pearson ( ), the two attention-starved closet gays ( ) that do Goals On Sunday, and every other SlySports commentator/pundit I've heard seem to think he is a great man that should stay as long as he likes, go when and how he chooses, and choose his successor because he "built the club" and any Arsenal fan that wants him out is basically a spoiled fairweather disloyal uppity cúnt with too much money and time on their hands. That last bit may or may not be a direct quote from Alan Parry.

I don't catch a lot of Talksport as my drive to and from work is relatively short but I would say almost everyone on there thinks it's time, very respectfully of course, but still time....Alan Parry on the weekend was a disgrace. We are entitled to spend OUR money however we choose & we are entitled to demand standards from OUR club. And no 20 years of 4th place is not good enough for some....we are the "some"

TBH I was surprised at myself but Parry's comments angered me so much, even more than most of the other derogatory and insulting shit pundits players and managers have aimed at the protests. It was so patronising and dismissive and from a cúnt that has probably not paid to enter a stadium in over 20 or 30 years. Fucking cheek of the fucker.
I got the call this morning asking if I want a season ticket next year (I'm about 14k on the waiting list).
He said they'll email me next week, there's about 500 initially available, if I don't want any of them I'll have to wait to after the renewals to see if there's any more available after that (there will be).
The most interesting thing was, that they can't say what the price will be, until they know if we are in CL or EL.
I could be wrong, but I got the impression the price would come down if its the EL which it will be)...surely losing money will get wiggys attention.
Saying that, I wouldn't be surprised if they just freeze prices if EL and act as tho they are doing the fans a favour by not putting them up....ignoring the fact they'd have gone up if we scraped into the CL.
After being upgraded from red to silver last week and now being offered a season ticket, I could feel a bit appreciated as a supporter for the first time in years....but it all smacks of a bit of desperation really.

When I declined my ST offer a few years back, (telling them to call me again the second you know who pisses off) unlike others who have turned one down and got shuffled back in to the pack, the club booted me completely off the list and trousered my 15 quid

Made me laugh out loud... AFC...... scooping up all your loose change since 1996
Arsene has done many bad things this season but seems to me very ironic that the team who will pip us to 4th place is Liverpool.
The same Liverpool that Arsene gifted 3 points on the first day of the season by being unable to get his squad ready in time because of the euros (well that was the excuse). To start that game with Chambers and Holgate (who by the way i think will be the real deal) cost us the game that day, ludicrous that Koscienly couldnt of stepped up and said he was ready. So looking like Liverpool will pip us by a point and goes all the way back to August last year....................

Greedy club....

Must say I saw the funny side of it too
I know of others, even some from on here, who have refused an offer but were kept on the list. Not sure why I got booted, I was more than polite to the nice lady who rang!
My dads mates still have their ST's ... apparently they've heard nothing. No emails, no calls and nothing in the post.
If the renewal date is 1st like it always has been then people have less than 3 weeks to decide and probably less than that by the time anything is announced. That is disgraceful. It probably comes back to the club and Wenger not knowing what European competition but they could at least say something. As an ex season ticket holder I still get emailed a load of crap from Arsenal on a regular basis.
Whether the fraud is staying or going is another massive thing to take into consideration but don't expect Arsenal or Wenger to consider the ordinary fan. The whole thing is a fucking shambles but I'm not surprised.
