As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
High flying Sunderland was always going to be tough. Not so Everton...2 in the first as we carve them apart with our customary quick start, rapier like passing and lightning fast movement ... Then, with our momentum up, and a few tactical halftime changes we'll add another 3 or 4 in the 2nd with both 'Pool and City slipping up and us leapfrogging, not into 4th, but into 3rd. And then carry that momentum into another FA cup victory. These surely are the days of miracle & wonder.
Got rid of Sky over 5 years ago, never been richer and happier not filling Murdoch's Emporium....
And not have to listen to hair dye Jeff Stelling joshing his Hartlepools all over the panel of Merson, Weeman, Big Nose, and Bergerac...
Things that can still save Wenger's precious CL spot in order of how likely it is to happen:
1) Arsenal win - Liverpool draw or lose.
2) Arsenal win 3-0 and Man City lose 2-0 at Watford ... or 4-0 Arsenal, 1-0 loss for Man City (anything with a 5 goal swing)
3) Arsenal draw - Liverpool lose by 2 goals.
Obviously the most likely is that Man City get at least the point they need and Liverpool beat relegated 'Boro ... but we all know football doesn't always work like that, especially when Wenger's luck comes into it.

Liverpool losing or drawing with Boro is the most likely...I cannot see a 5 goal swing with City. In fact after last nights laboured performance a win over Everton is not guaranteed either. Especially a big win.
The likelihood of us winning and Liverpool dropping points is about 5-10% max I'd say.
The likelihood of us winning the FA Cup, I'd put between 20-30% (yeah I'm a rose tinter.....get over it )
But in pursuit of the be all and end all we'll reduce that percentage even further by refusing to rotate and playing a clearly injured Alexis for another 90 minutes.
If Lucas Perez can't even get a run against absolute dross Sunderland he should abandon all hope, pack his bags and go. Get out while you can Lucas
