if wenker somehow makes it till then, ozil and sanchez will walk away and with current prices Wenger would have to spend 400 million to replace them.
This actually might be the end of the club as we know it (a club that oozed class and everyone wanted to play for) i can't think of a more sustained damaging period, yeah we have been shite before for a few seasons but then we normally got rid and started again.
Did many boo Sanchez? I watched it on SlySports and it sounded like he got a good reception... heard cheers and then his song... I know the Slysports mics don't pick up everything but were there many booing him?
I read that we might sell Ozil in January. He has been very good in some games but very bad in many big ones. His Arsenal career won't go down in the book of legends so I'm not that gutted to see him leave.
Sanchez is a different story but if he wants to leave then nothing we can do.
Personally, Ozil leaving/getting sold won't be the end of the world tbh. He is a superbly talented intelligent player with top technique and vision, but Wenger has no clue how to set up the team around his ability and so we get minimum return from Ozil. People that call him lazy just don't really understand football past the viewpoint of "Player X runs around a lot, he's great". It's a dull simplistic and frankly stupid way to look at the game.
As we only get minimum return from Ozil his leaving won't impact our team too much. Sanchez on the other hand scores goals, and creates havoc among oppo defenders. Yeah he loses posession often but he also wins a lot by his pressing. He will be far harder to replace than Ozil.
Apparently Athletico is interested in Ozil. Tbh, I think the only reason we haven't had the ruckus with him that we have had with Sanchez is because nobody has come in for him. He'll be gone in Jan, as will Sanchez.
That will be Wenger's excuse for a dismal season, but not to worry he will rebuild in the summer.

With simeone in charge ? No way does ozil suit a simeone managed team - if he doesn't run around enough or be aggressive enough for us, then he sure as shit would drive simeone barmy
Ozil will be off to OT in the summer, Mourinho wont miss the chance to ram it down Wenger's throat again.
I just hope Sanchez goes to PSG not City or United, in fact scratch that, I'm beyond caring now, we are a joke of a club run by a joke of an owner and a joke of a manager.
Good look to your sales guys trying to sell the "premium club level experience" when we have a team of average players that no one really cares to see.
