Southampton vs Arsenal (A) 12pm Sunday 10/12/17 live on BT Sport

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Game is on Sky
It is actually on BT sport.
Doesn’t really matter - the game will still be shit. All Sunday 12pm kick off times are.

Didn't know BT did PL games on a Sunday....Now we'll get that Scouse lot..Owen, McManaman.....and then throw Robbie savage into the mix...Plus it's us playing....prepare to be underwhelmed.

Haha, looks like rain on Sunday though... so might bother to watch it as still have BT sport out of laziness to cancel, then again might go to the pub instead (where it wont be on), such is my passion for all things Arsene Stanley PLC these days.

There was a time I'd be off down to St Mary's to watch this but now I can't even be f**ked to watch on TV thanks to the regime that have killed off any passion for this club (sorry corporation).

Two s**t teams and we often struggle at St Mary's so I expect a dire game going 1-0 either way or a low scoring draw, hmm come to think of it the pub is looking more appealing..

Yeah been many times before, remember Shearers debut think he was 16 at the time, he got a hat trick......and Ian Wrights league debut he got a hat trick (was up at Leicester in the cup game a few days before) , for very different reasons

I will be doing what I did for the Brighton 12pm game a couple of months ago - go to the pub and watch it in there whilst having a fry up.
I don't remember the game being much good but the breakfast was !

Having to get up so early will be too much for Arsene's babies.

I predict a low-scoring game, with lots of superfluous sideways passing, 30-40 yards from Southampton's goal. I'll have to check which of Southampton's attackers are out of form (Shane Long, maybe), so I know who to bet on to score their first goal.

:coffeespit:

I bet the entire 11 will be different, such is Wenger's determination to win his first European Trophy.

As for the result - who could predict Arsenal these days?? Good followed by shit followed by half decent followed by "I'd rather be somewhere else" followed by Special Circumstances etc.

He'll probably scrape a shitty victory to start our latest unbeaten run then everyone can forget all about the Man Utd game. And maybe we'll score some real goals this week rather than a hatful of "Expected Goals"

If only we cared . . . . . . . . .

If i could get a ticket it is one of the games i would go to as it is easy to get to and there are some great pubs in Southampton. But as you say, no real enthusiasm to see us put in another lacklustre performance.
