Haha, in fairness he does look quite good (on YT) but he is a young prospect not a replacement for a WC player.

Arsenal are closing in on a deal for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for €60m. The Dortmund striker was left out of the squad today. (Source: @GuillemBalague)

No way we’ll sign another out and out striker - we’ve already got 2 on over 100k a week and haven’t played more than one up front for nearly a decade.

Isn’t that bloke a bit of a nutcase?

Malcom's fee just probably went up another €10m. Bordeaux preparing to build a new stand on the back of what we pay them

Just looked up this Malcom guy we're supposedly interested in for 35m. If Wikipedia is correct, he's 5 foot 6 and built like a streak of piss. Spuds have allegedly dropped their interest so sounds like a perfect Wenger signing - some overpriced, no mark, lightweight from Ligue 1 that nobody else wants and yet we'll still pay more for him than we get for Sanchez and Ozil combined !

ONE ARSENE WENGER........THERE'S ONLY ONE ARSENE WENGER

:barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Yes Malcolm is 5ft 6ins and weighs in at a bit over ten stones...This week Le Tool said Lacazette is struggling with the physicality of the Premier League..So what is a jockey sized forward going to bring to the table?

Sorry I got it wrong on my last thread about his price going up by 10m.......I think its gone up by €15m......we're talking a €50m fee now.

So that's a world class striker going for a rumoured £25m-£35m, and the Brazilian jockey coming in for €50m. I'm afraid the tourettes is kicking in again.....

In the Euromillions......this time Bordeaux......its you !

Arsenal are growing confident of luring Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to the Emirates as they plan for life after Alexis Sanchez, according to reports.

Yeah and I'm confident of shagging a collection of supermodels by the time the window closes too. I'm sure one of Europe's top strikers will be salivating at the prospect of joining that illustrious bunch of superstars we have. No more useless turds like Ozil or Alexis supplying the ammunition, but creative genius like Xhaka, Elneny, Welbeck and Iwobi

Why waste time playing for a CL qualifying club who play in front of 60,000 impassioned fans every week when you can trade it for days our in Ostersund and Borisov , and be met with 20,000 empty seats in a soulless library every week

Hope someone else come and sign him and add him to our nearly list. Don't want SFB signing a genuinely world class player ever again - stick with fucking dross like Xhaka, Chambers and Mustafi mate

The thing is, if it's true, signing Aubameyang has an air of desperation about it, I mean in addition to Sanchez and Ozil fine, but as a replacement for Sanchez?, I'm not sure he's quite as good and even if he is we still go backwards because we've strengthened either City or United by allowing Sanchez to go.

I don't want us to sign Aubameyang as some sort of PR exercise.

In that interview after the game, when questioned about Alexis, Wenger said something will happen in next 48 hours. However, whilst he was very short with his answers he seemed to be hiding some news about replacements. I think with no midweek games we're going to have a lot of movement this week of players. I'm expecting 3 players coming in, none of which we would expect Wenger to sign.
Reminds me of Graham's last season when he brought in 3 players (helder, hartson, and kiwonya) to freshen up a jaded cup winning team, who were 15th in the league at the time.

Aubameyang averages almost a goal a game for the past three seasons not sure why that would be "an air of desperation about it" and a "PR exercise". Having said that, I struggle with why he would want to join us when presumably he could go anywhere he wants.

A worse scenario which would be real wenger would be Smalling plus 10 mill , a Gallas deal all over it and he rates Smalling big time.

We need Ancelotti right now , so what is the heads up on this , Has he had talks , has he really watched games from the box etc , this could be a crowd changer ? (mind you as half of our fans are foreign scarf wearers etc)

Aubamayangalangadingdong was dropped because he can't be arsed showing up for training when he should and it's a regular thing by all accounts! Nothing to do with Farsenal being after him! FFS, it's Guillaume Ballague who said AFC are confident of getting him, this tosser NEVER gets anything right, he claimed Sol Campbell was at a Barca game to sign for them a day or so before he signed for us. He's a no-mark Journo with zero inside knowledge.

I'm sure we'll spunk plenty of money on average shit this window, Xhaka's brother must be available?? Auba is WAYYYYYYY too good for us and anyway, signing him would kill Alexander Lackofthreat :banghead:
