Unai Emery

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Story I heard is he gives out USBs to the players to analyse their opponents tactics (Revolutionary stuff, whoevers heard of that  )

One player he suspected wasn't looking at them, so was given an empty USB by Mr Emery, who later quizzed the player on the analysis that was reported to be very useful by the player...... Not sure that they lasted long at the club.

I would like Bould to stay  One telling recent interview with Pat Rice was that he didn't give any tactical analysis or advise to Wenger at all (  ) but was merely the conduit between the managers and players. Someone in the backroom with an Arsenal pedigree maybe useful in the short term.

'Unai to the Arsenal' as a song might go.

Good appointment given our limited funds offering. Hear he improves players.....plenty of scope there. Could have the effect of minimising need for new players. Many of our current squad under performed with Wenger and seemed good players at their previous clubs.

I like that he is the same age as Potty at Spurs but with more trophies to his name!

He will improve us if his record continues...a definite step forward.

I hope Bould gets a chance, is a raging success, up on his feet SCREAMING at our defence. Would loooove to see that. I cannot believe, knowing the defender he was, that he was happy to sit on his arse week after week while the seemingly endless defensive calamities unfolded.
