Cheap at 13m but never going to be good enough for a starting berth at this level. Personally wouldn’t want to carry the tubby prick.
It would take at least two people to lift the 'tubby prick' never mind carry him!

I have a feeling that Shaqiri is going to be the Mousers new Charlie Adam. Classic big fish in a small pond syndrome. Hopefully anyway.

He's got tremendous talent, but I can't see Klopp turning him into a high-energy. fast-pressing, all action player. At least not until he's finished his pie.

it looks like Hazard is off to Real Madrid.

on his day he's a very good player, unstoppable almost. big loss for the chavs.

Jorghino is no replacement.

3rd place for us this year :barscarf:

I don't know why but I really feel that we are looking for one big name signing during this window...

My eldest lad was telling me that he was watching aftv earlier and the young lad with the jam jar glasses, said that we are going to be signing dybala or dembele (the barca dembele). I really rate dybala and think that he is an outstanding young player that I would love us to sign, but unless we sell one of ramsey/ozil/lacazette, what would be the point cos where we he play ? The same conundrum would apply for dembele too, but dybala is the better player which I why I spoke about him

Plug is sometimes correct, but he did guarantee that Allegri would be our new manager.

That is the one that stands out in my mind too, but my lad watches FAR more aftv than I do, and he claims that he is usually on the ball with his predictions. For what it's worth I doubt if there is a chance in hell that it happens unless we sell one of the players I listed above, and I doubt if we will sell lacazette or ozil (sadly in his case  ), but ramsey is a possibility cos of contract issues - that said, neither would be a direct replacement for ramsey though

Yes, I have also read about the prospect of signing Dybala. Apparently Dick wants to make a statement that we are seriously gonna challenge for top honors. But as you said signing him wouldn't make any sense if we won't sell one of those players. I think we might go for a proper winger more likely and offload likes of Iwobi and Welbeck. Wouldn't Dembele fit into winger category fine actually? I'd be happy about that too if it were to happen.

Read an article online, think it came from the daily star, criticising sokratis lack of footballing technique, but is a strong no nonsense defender...thank fuck for that! as long as he can pass 5 yards to torreira and belt the ball into row z then that's exactly what we want.

Cant find the link today, but yesterday there was a story that suggested that juve were interested in signing ramsey - if ever there was a possibility of a real big transfer coup it would be swapping ramsey for dybala :barscarf: :barscarf:

Comical transfer rumour of the day (and I know that this isnt AFC related), is the one suggesting that real madrid will only let bale go to manure if lukaku is part of the deal - yes we are to believe that the biggest and wealthiest club in world football, is interested in a big overweight and overpriced pile of shite who couldnt trap a bag of cement, and has the touch of a rapist :coffeespit: :coffeespit: :coffeespit:

The modern obsession with 'ball playing' Centre Halfs i find somewhat ridiculous, its great if they can but looking at Stones as an example it can be awful if they fuck it up, defend and get rid sensibly is all i expect from a CB

I think Ramsey should be given a fortnight to agree a new contract or be put on the transfer list. It wouldn't be that difficult to find a replacement.

The victims look very likely to get Alisson Becker to replace calamity Karius in goal for £62m. Nabil Fekir still wants to go to Liverpool.

The chavs have already got Jorginho and are now look like certainties to get Golovin.
