Supposedly a top class player in the making and available on a free transfer (which suits a club with our financial restraints), so is he worth a gamble ?
Personally I am always wary when I read stories of players basically being on strike (or told to train with the kids or ressies), because it raises concerns over attitude. I read that story and the name "anelka" is screaming in my ear, and it neverlooks good when a player that young seems to be 100% focused on money. All that being said, MAYBE if he got his move to a big club like ours it would refocus him and a demanding coach like emery MIGHT be able to ensure that he fulfills his potential with us. I also wonder if he would be the solution if ramsey needed to be sold - sell ramsey for a decent fee, sign this guy on a free, and re-invest the ramsey money on another signing - I was encouraged last night when I read a story suggesting that the left full position is one that emery would like to improve (cos I have said that for a while), but investing any money received from ramsey sale into a left winger or left back makes good sense to me.
According to Il Messaggero, Lazio are showing interest in Alex Iwobi. They claim he isn't in Emery's plans & could be available for €20-€25m. #Arsenal https://t.co/gb8DLe1whY

The Sun are reporting that Lazio are also considering Perez as well as Iwobi with both apparently available for around the £22M mark.
Surely we could do them a two for the price of one deal and get shot of them both.
Selling iwobi has to be the priority out of those two - he brings the square root of fcuk all to the team, and his lazy running will not fit in with a high energy gameplan. Perez MIGHT bring a few goals to the team, plus €20m-€25m for iwobi would be daylight robbery on a serious scale and could see mislintat doing porridge
