democracy in action.
time to take on the Establishment now that it is known the Brexit win was based on a load of lies.
time to get our country back from the brink of disaster :unionjack:
Democracy is an illusion that much I do know ,the choice between one bunch of incompetent crooks or another with little or no accountability isnt democracy .

If you were that interested in democracy you would have shut up , kept calm and carried on as the Tee shirt said.

That’s what the Germans did in the 1930s.
They ended up with Hitler...

Remainers haven’t even started yet so get used to it. You still fail to get it don’t you ? All the momentum is with the younger sections of the UK who are mostly pro EU and have the energy to make sure the country remains in the EU with all its benefits. Your views will gradually die out.

Rob, this is the future of Europe as envisaged by the EU and Merkel, this is one of the main reasons i voted the way i did and decided it is time to get out before this becomes the norm, this is just the aperitif of what is ahead in Europe. Unless the EU changes course that is, which it wont.

If these incidents continue more and more of this will happen:

https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/10 ... iel-pegida

This isn't just extremists any more this is normal everyday working class people demanding change and if the Eurocrats don't listen then god help us all. Also take note that they were protesting the death of a Cuban German killed by an immigrant, hardly what you'd expect from a bunch of NeoNazi thugs.

And for the record to the Guardianistas and BBC lovers, this is the 2nd time protests have happened in a week in Germany over this, although the first one seemed more peaceful, it has also happened due to similar incidents in Romania, Bulgaria, Poland, Cechia, Italy and Hungary in recent months, i only point it out as the mainstream media is avoiding it like the plague just in case people begin to realise what is going on because that would not fit their agenda.

The EU's utter contempt for their own people is driving the rise in extremism across the continent and it is only going to get worse.

For anyone interested, read up on the no go zones in Sweden for a real eye opener, but a word of caution don't expect to see it in any of the major mainstream media outlets, you will have to go digging.

Interesting line in that report >

Ms Merkel, who wrapped up a three-day trip to Africa this week, has to commented on the demonstrations near the Czech border.

Remind me where The Appeasing dancing queen was this week as well.

Had an interesting discussion with my dad over brexit and democracy. I simply asked him who is the head of the EU? He didn't know. I then asked him who elected him into the position? Again he didn't know perhaps the MEP's we voted for, voted for the president. So, Democracy by proxy. Apparantly, according to him the world will end on 29th march 2019, house prices will collapse, the pound will collapse, and cost of living will shoot through the roof. I suggested he sell everything in the UK now, move to a country in the EU and give me my share of inheritance before 29th March 2019. From his response I won't be getting any inheritance anytime soon.

The rise of the Far Right is my main reason for staying IN the EU.
You stay and make the EU better, not run away and pretend to ignore what is going on in Germany etc.
The EU has helped to ensure the peace in Europe for years. Because of Brexit most of the EU now hate us - not great is it really going forward.
They are a huge bloc of about 500 million people and will be dictating trade deals to us now. Brexit means the UK will lose all influence.

If we had been so isolated in the 1940s we would probably have lost WW2, and don’t forget that Sir Winston Churchill would have voted to REMAIN.

I can understand why people voted to leave back in 2016, you were lied to. However I have no time for anyone who would still vote leave in 2018. As far as I am concerned you are all traitors to the UK and are going to help to destroy it.

I find it extremely offensive that remoaners continue to describe leavers as ignorant, racist bigots who fell for a bunch of lies. I've never been comfortable with how the EU has evolved to an autocratic corporate men's club. If history has told us one thing we British cannot trust our nearest "allies" and that's going back as far as the 100 years war.
If a second referendum is called there will be absolute anarchy on the streets.
It's unfortunate that the people attempting to do a deal don't want to leave and will continue to roll over and continue along the "soft" Brexit deal route, which neither remoaners or leavers would agree too. If a referendum is called it should be for the public to decide if it supports the chequers deal, or no deal. Not leaving should not even be on the table anymore. That moment has come and gone.

If we had been so isolated in the 1940s we would probably have lost WW2, and don’t forget that Sir Winston Churchill would have voted to REMAIN.

Conflicting evidence on that last remark and unfortunately we can't ask him. He did say that we ought to forge a closer relationship with Europe but also remarked that if the choice of joining them we should chose the sea.
Furthermore we were not isolated in WW2 , we got support from a number of people from Eastern Europe that had escaped from the Nazis but mostly from the Commonwealth and America who strangely are some of the people that we are turning to now to re-establsh our trade deals having neglected them at the behest of the E.U.
We are not yet at the point of a far right explosion , that is an exaggeration . There are not armies of black / brown shirt yet , the Franco , Salazar , Mussolini type dictators have not yet come to power but if the E.U continue along this route there is every possibility that there might be. Their policy of mass immigration and their refusal to talk about it with the obvious media blackout is fueling the disenchantment . As people cannot discuss things in the open they tend to do so in private and eventually form little vigilantes that expand into the Mosely type groups of the 30's .
It's in their hands , revert to being what it was originally and let the peoples of Europe unite by trading with each other and forget the meglomaniac desire to rule everything and it would be fine . Continue to promote their very Kallergi type policy and there will be trouble ahead.
