Toon Away 15/9 @ 3pm

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Only nine players in our squad have been selected for International duty.

El-Neny, Sokratis, Mkhitaryan, Ramsey, Torreira, Lichtsteiner, Xhaka, Welbeck and PEA.

Unai has about a fortnight with most of the squad to prepare for this one.

On the face of it this is good news, but the one's that we would like dick to be able to work with over the next 2 weeks (torreira, Lichtsteiner, sokratis and bangbang) are the ones that are away :( Seriously if elneny, mikki and wellshit never return to the club it would be one of the best days since we left highbury 8)

Did anyone ever have an educated right foot?
Nigel Winterburn did but he never fucking used it 8)

You dont remember his right foot rocket against wimbledon in the second last game of the 89 title winning campaign ??  A fcuking screamer it was 8) :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

I swear to fuck this just turned up on my twatter feed -

Either someone was reading this thread today and decided to share it or that’s some random shit right there. That account is well worth a follow for some old school memories by the way, some great clips on it.
Nice one - reminds me of a great football club I once supported. Truly a fantastic time to be an Arsenal fan and I think that 1989 might get an airing this afternoon  Thank Christ I'm an old bastard and got to enjoy many many great years at Highbury before that abomination of a bowl was foisted upon us.
You're on about the year not the poster are you?

Looking forward to this one.

Got Wenger sacked last time I went in April so fingers crossed for half an enjoyable experience.
 :censored:

Gark! Spluuurk! Whatintheabsolutefuckingwhat?

I think you'll find this is what got him sacked :

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=39390

:barscarf:
Haha I was also at the Sports Direct Arena at a conference on the day that his sacking was announced so I am claiming that my connection with that place is at least 50% responsible.

The only other time I went there I won one of my only bets in history - Giroud to score first and us to win 2-1.

Good things happen at that place. Obviously not if you were there for the 4-4 though.

Xhaka on 4 yellow cards so hopefully he will get another yellow and be banned for the everton game.
If we're 2up in the 95th minute a straight red wouldn't go amiss 8)
A yellow followed by a straight red would earn him a 4 match ban....fingers crossed :barscarf:
That's the Wet dream.... for everybody....

A win to the Arsenal 1 - 3 with Torreira coming on in th 2nd half to lay on yet another assist for a goal. Rambo will also score and the Spanish waiter will pull all kinds of angry faces when we score our third because of an absolute bollox - up by their defence.

fuckkk these drugs are good. 8)

Not too worried. If he was sitting there after with an ice pack on it then it's just a knock. Should be fine for the Toon.
