I can just about live with that but what really pisses me off is the complete dickheads who then start the push for some kind of parity between the two games.
I read an article about the history of the womens game which made me laugh as a female was complaining that in 1969 when the womens FA was formed there were no female "player pathways". Fucking really! Shock horror, could that be becase no girl gave a shit about playing football ffs! But all the boys in the playground were booting a ball about ironically.
This link shows the success of the womens teams in real terms i.e. profitability and as you will see if they weren't bankrolled by the clubs they would be out of business. Our lot have made a loss of £420,000 over 4 years and the other clubs similar amounts. Man Utd are putting £5m into starting their team just to keep the peace and placate the pc brigade. It stops the unwanted questions I guess.
