Euphoria pretty much completely gone now and all games are taking on a Wengeresque flavour. Anything away from home against middle to lower half of the table opponents and a drab, dogged slog, with numerous comedic defensive howlers is expected. Top 6 - 8 teams, especially away, is "anticipated" with out and out foreboding and dread. :( :( :(
cheer up will you ?

we will have had a full week to rest up and prepare for this one, and I expect us to win.
Ok December was a bit of a setback, but we are still very much in the mix for a top 4 finish.
We need purchases...we cannot carry on with the defence as it is. In fact Bould probably needs to go as well.....I used to defend him, thinking it was Wenger holding him back but it obviously isn't. My prediction is if we carry on in this vein we will finish in 6th. United were 10 points adrift, now they are breathing down our neck.

I cannot think of one combination of the defenders we have on which we could build a truly competitive, title challenging team. If we don't buy, we are going to struggle.
Finishing sixth is being generous imo.
Did anyone else see the report by Swiss Rambler? DB10 WOULD HAVE LOVED READING IT. :rubchin:  :D
Kranky hasn't invested a penny in the club since he purchased it. Nothing will change.
We are on a long slow slide into obscurity...........................
Dick and his team are onto a hiding to nothing.
This season will be our absolute best under the new regime.

FACT
I read that report. Very interesting but not surprising.

Kroenke is slowly killing the club and needs to wake up before it is too late. Otherwise, his little overseas investment will drastically fall in value as we get overtaken by other clubs with non c.u.n.t.y owners.

I think we will win 2-1 but expecting a defensive failure leading to unnecessary pressure.
Just the one??

I wish that it is just one time. However, I meant there will be a clusterfuck of mistakes leading to many chances.

We just have to hope that West Ham lack the quality to capitalise on Litchensteiner and Koscielny playing like they won their place in a cereal box

Stan Kroenke has made it clear on a number of occasions that he is not at Arsenal to win the league.
As such I have stepped back from supporting the club regularly at the ground (Wenger did help me in stopping going so much to be fair) i just take it for what it is nowadays, watch the matches in the pub, enjoy the wins, but know that we are no longer aiming to be the best as in the past. I enjoy things more to be honest as the pressure has been taken away.

Sad that it has come to this though.

We should beat these bags of shite but I can deffo see us conceding - it's what we do. Probably a deflection off Andy Carroll's big stupid fucking head if he plays.

1-3 away win for Dick's red and white army. :barscarf:

Looming sense of dread that due to the usual defensive 'hiccups' we'll lose this narrowly. Even with our 'strengthened' spine we still get rag-dolled too easily by bigger/taller players :rubchin:

Desperately hoping for the win but as the week goes on my depressed anticipation get worse :banghead:

The "reducer" on carroll needs to be from sokratis not torreira - torreira is a feisty player for sure, but carroll will "do him" in a flat out thuggish way, where as our greek centre back will absolutely poleaxe the geordie w.anker and then spread his arms in a "what was that free for" pose 8)

That arnotuvic (sp  ) crunt worries me big time - this mornings papers claim the shammers are willing to sell him to some chinese club for £50m, and in my opinion they should be sec tioned if that is true  He seems to have upped his game big time since he left the inbreds, and he will be a real threat imo

If we get a good start they might fold cos I always get the feeling that their fans are constantly on the verge of a rebellion, but we dont need to let them get a start on us cos those same fans make a big difference when they get behind the team

Too close a game to call imo

Can’t see us winning this, lack of organisation in defence to be our predictible undoing again!
It’s all Wengers fault of course, as we daren’t question the abilities of current coaching team!

Sid you are convincing no one mate.

The man inherited an overpaid underperforming squad of players that range from utter gash to average with a couple of top players in there that are heavily demotivated by playing with shit. He brought in a couple of cheap buys and has improved a team that was everybody's bitch away from home last season. He has no money. He now has to loan players in like he's Eddie fucking Howe or something ffs. He is punching way above his weight given the circumstances he is in.

Can you name any manager that could do as well as he has done in those circumstances?

People wet their vaginas over Moron-hio and Stupid Teeth and I guarantee you those supposedly elite level managers would fail fucking miserably at Arsenal in these circumstances.

The man has to be given a couple of seasons to try sort this mess out.

Given the shit he got from many Arsenal fans KD Lang Features will be pumped up like a lezzer after a good fisting to score against us. I'd nearly say put your houses on Lesbian Head to net one and the stupid pony tailed knacker to rag doll our defenders for one too.....

We need 3 goals to win this.

Poor old Sid - its killing him that we've had a few defeats and poor performances without an Englishman in the team

I'd blame that Steve Bould and also Calum Chambers for going out on loan :D

Hopefully Glenn Whelan or Jon Walters will become available in the transfer window to save us. Shane Long anyone?
