Kane is a massive diver - like Salah but worse. His dive last year against Liverpool when he took a swan dive and stretched his leg to clip the keeper was awful. It was a key time and a key point in a high-profile game, and he conned a penalty. It was a seminal moment for the PL in terms of clamping down on diving as this met basically all of their criteria for retrospective bans and they didn't even bat an eyelid. The only person who came out and called it as a dive afterwards was van Dijk in his interview.

Salah's cheating two weeks in a row went unpunished (and rewarded actually) but at least it was the subject of some debate. With Kane and Spurs generally it just gets ignored. I saw a still from last night and Kane was literally like a ski jumper in mid-air with his legs straightened out and flopping forwards. Son's dive against us was appalling and he should have been eviscerated in the media but they didn't even look at it. These cheats are not only diving, they are then banging the floor and writhing about in fake agony. It's every bit as bad as what European teams do but there is still a sense of outrage when English clubs play in Europe. Spurs are the worst of the lot, they dive and cheat every week and in the last few years alone Son, Alli and Bale have all won penalties with blatant dives just against us. Fucking media darlings. We were rightly criticised for having 3 bookings in one game, although there was zero difference between Mustafi going down when he was kicked and Hazard going down when Bellerin made contact with him at our place last year (other than it being Hazard and him therefore getting a penalty and being called clever).

Makes me laugh when people like Carragher and Neville see dives and really soft penalties and declare them fouls. These two players would fucking enter somebody and still scream and spit at the referee if he gave a foul against them.

Over three weeks in Christmas Salah blew a massive hole in the whole "any sort of touch at the pace" bollocks. Against Bournemouth when he was going through on goal a defender tried to foul him and actually stamped on his Achilles - it was really nasty and he nearly buckled but made sure he stayed on his feet as he knew he had a better chance of scoring by doing so rather than from a free-kick. The next two weeks a minor gust of wind is supposedly enough to knock him to the ground and/or justify him going down, both instances because he was just inside the corner of the box. Likewise Bale used to go down if somebody went near him in the box but I've also seen him score goals with people basically hanging off his trying to haul him down because suddenly he remembers that he is a 6'2 powerful athlete when he's on the counter on halfway.

Fuck VAR. It will never work because referees don't have the bottle or ability to make big decisions, particularly if it involves calling somebody out as a diver where there has been minor contact. If they can't get a fucking offside right what hope do they have?

VAR has to be neutral to work. If the officials can't or won't call out the obvious because of who it involves then they may as well bin it before it even starts properly.

Gotta give the managers some stick here as well, they actively encourage their players to go down, in fact players have more or less said it is expected of them in the box. It is NEVER seen as cheating, always viewed as a kind of nudge, nudge, wink, wink, "clever", "played the situation brilliantly", by the pundits and so called studio "experts". Call it what it is...CHEATING!!

Until cricket got massively improved technology, very few players used to walk when caught behind. Now there is very, very little room for doubt with the technology they use. VAR though, still won't work, because the final decision, especially if it's "tight", is still subjective.....it's still humans making the call.

He said the same about playing in England that it was us or nothing.....until the chavs came calling.

to be fair - the ex-manager turned him down, he did want to sign for us. the ex-manager had that stupid rule about never re-signing players right up until TH14 and flamini were available.

we also turned down Petit and Edu, Edu (The Invincible winning Edu) who was only 28 at the time and miserable in Valencia.

so i blame the ex-manager and don't blame Cesc if he has hard feelings towards him.

Talking of Edu.....did you see this in the press the other day

I think it’s much Edu about nothing

According to Victims fans:-

Trent is the best LB
Robertson is the best RB
Overall they have the best squad
Passes by Fabinho are magical
Henderson > your CM
Your manager < Klopp
LFC will win the league
Ederson < Alisson
Salah > Hazard
Salah > Messi

Now read the first letter of each line

I'll look forward to a dodgy penalty costing them the title.
