Other Matches Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Haven't watched any football since 2.30 yesterday and switched radio, TV off....no papers etc.....until just now

Thanks Senor De Gea and Mister Rashford

#61andneveragain

I seem to remember a team who went 9 years without a trophy and who celebrated top four finishes being a figure of fun for the mass media

Lets see how long the loser at the Lane can get away with it? Still licking his ringpiece despite years of mediocrity, leaving Espanyol bottom of La Liga and getting outdone by Koeman at Southampton! Still, he's the best thing since sliced bread apparently

Well I did say when the little twat took over they'd be ahead of us before long cos they have a better squad.

I do remember one poster replying (with his rolling eyes emoji  ) that they'd only beaten shit teams, I said they didn't just beat them, they thrashed them, teams we barely scraped by.

As I said at the start of the season, we are a 6th placed team and that's with upgrades in the DM and CB positions.

Victims struggling to break down Brighton, Salah gets into the box, collapses, penalty.

BIG FUCKING YAWN
Every game I watch them. Literally every fucking game. Including two stonewall penalties against City at home not given and one away. Somebody breathes in Salah’s vicinity and refs are falling over themselves to give a penalty.

Really enjoyed United going and sticking one to Spurs. Probably their best title challenge yet!

I'll look forward to a dodgy penalty costing them the title.
 :barscarf:

They'll have blown it long before then though. 8)

Wouldn't it be really funny if a blatant dive by Kane or Alli deprived Liverpool of the title..Unlikely I know, not sure when they play again, but can you imagine the confusion in the media. They would want to condemn the culprit that deprived one of their favourite clubs but the culprit would be a player from their other favourite club.

Also the fact it was an English player that took the dive. Some reporters (I refuse to call them journalists) would fucking implode.
