In all fairness does it ?
Have you read it ? It ties us into the E.U for perpertuity. It is not a Withdrawal "Agreement" or a "DEAL" - it is a TREATY. and
It's for an Associate Membership of the NEW AMENDED LISBON TREATY.
It was simple really , leave and then negotiate .

On another subject I see that 10,000 troops are to arrive on an exercise for two weeks on 30th March .
It's the date that worries me , Is somebody worried about a bit of civil unrest ?
Hope we don't get a Catalonian repeat.

A11 if there is evidence that social media is responsible for producing fake news, you give this theory no end of rope. That link is broke but I have no doubt it was probably way off reality.

It’s a NATO exercise, look at the Government website. I suspect March 29th will be a damp squib because nothing will be agreed by then, apart from possibly an extension. Part of me wants the Europeans to kick us out so that all this project fear nonsense can stop, and we can start talking about reality,

Mate you do know that military exercises are planned months and months (sometimes a couple of years) ahead right? The logistics of housing and feeding and transporting that many personnel and their gear alone dictates that.

You need to spend less time on the conspiracy websites! :D

It was a kind of tongue in cheek comment but the date is strangely coincidental.

you are probably right - anyway it is the closest to your Brexit that you are going to get so I don't see why you are against it.
what you have to remember is that leavers all wanted different things - some wanted a Norway style deal, others a Canadian, some as hard a Brexit as they could find. That is in the end how LEAVE won. You all wanted different things but got lumped together at the ballot box.

the actual majority wanted a straightforward REMAIN. Truth hurts does it ?

By votes 17.4 voted to leave 16.1 voted to stay
By constituency 406 voted to leave 242 voted to stay
By party Labour 148 to leave 84 to stay
conservative 247 to leave 80 to stay
Liberal 11 Idependent 10 voted to stay
By region 9 voted leave 3 to stay
but MP's 160 to leave 486 to stay.

There's your problem .Leadsome this morning stated that in trying to appease the remaining camp the few leavers have been undermined.

Voting for May's deal means being tied to the E.U for ever it is not leaving , it is more like taking one step outside a door , chucking your wallet on the floor but leaving it ajar so that you can step back in at anytime.

well there has never been and never will be a majority who voted to leave without a deal.
but this is the point - Leavers all wanted something different, which is how you got over the winning line.

however as we all know Brexit hasnt been able to be implemented because everyone interpreted Leave differently.
if it had been clear before the referendum what Leave would look like ( we STILL dont know0 then Leave would have been defeated. It really is as simple as that.

Two of the four Countries of the UK voted to remain, Scotland by 2 to 1.
Of course all the other countries did not matter anyway because the English vote was 5 times the size of the others combined.
Scotland as a whole had a 100% remain in their Constiteuncies.

England rules :barscarf:

Far from rubbishing the statement it endorses it DB old chap .
May Knew she was NEVER going to deliver Brexit and thus has been planning to deal with the potential street backlash for a very long time !
I would love to have a mass civil disobedience campaign with all it entails but we are so docile as a nation nowadays that most people think a "Molotov cocktail" is a fancy drink you get in a trendy SOHO Bar !
