ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

oh please be true

Can't wait to see what that next step will be.......similar to that taken by TOF I suspect.
Is there anything quite as amusing as the level of delusion some of these "fooblers" live under?

The silly cùnt shouldn't be near our first team and if he really thinks Palace are "the next level" (he doesn't specify up or down in fairness) then if they have a bag of training tops and a spare set of nets he's theirs! 8)

BBC WEBSITE:
Arsenal are keeping tabs on Guingamp striker Marcus Thuram, the son of former France defender Lillian Thuram. The 21-year-old's contract with the relegation-battling Ligue 1 club expires in the summer and he is also attracting interest from Borussia Dortmund. (Sun)

Arsenal are also interested in signing Hererra on a free transfer in the summer. (Mail)

Both Tottenham and Arsenal are interested in Ajax's Argentina defender Nicolas Tagliafico. Ajax want £15m for the 26-year-old. (Sun)

Belgium midfielder Yannick Carrasco, 25, who was the subject of a bid from Arsenal in January, says he would "love" to return to Europe from Chinese Super League club Dalian Yifang. (Sun)

To be honest right now would be the perfect time to sell him cos his stock is probably the highest it has been since he arrived - no doubt that he has improved some this season, but nowhere near the overhyped levels of praise that he is getting
If scoring a very fortunate goal v Man Utd is enough to make him think he is capable of playing at a higher level he is utterly deluded -

Sell, sell, sell 💷💷
I concur wholeheartedly 8) He's utter shite and has cost us countless times, get him to fuck if we can I'd say.

There's a midfielder playing for the Swiss against Denmark. He is fuc**ng brilliant. Not a pass to the wrong team, defending Great and scored a superb goal. Granit Xhaka is his name. We should sign him.

He obviously has used up this month's allocation of shit passes playing for us. No worries though the shit pass reset kicks in Monday morning - just in time for our game against the toon.

I can't think of a club who are bigger than us that would have dear old Xhaka on their must have summer shopping list or even their maybe list. Somebody made a shout for Bayern on here but I think he was being way too kind or was completely off his tits at the time of typing or was maybe just taking the piss

Can anyone make a case (other than wishing) for Xhaka at a PL Top 6 club, Bayern, PSG or wait for it, I'm going to say it....RM or Barca :coffeespit:

Bayern are currently a shadow of the team they used to be and Xhakatard still wouldn't get near their starting line up.

Yeah but people didn’t know what they were voting for and there is a petition signed by 60 million people to have another one.

It was me  - only reason I said this because I assumed when he said 'next step' he meant a better team. The only team he'll relatively get play time out of the PL and in the world is Bayern. As DB said they are a fraction of the team they used to be and they are planning a big haul for the team. Not saying he's in the must list but Granit is good enough to get into the team (good enough to play week in and out is another disc). His competition is Martinez ffs, can't be worse than him.

We also have to remember it won't be as fast paced as PL so it suits him and apart from his decision making skills he's not so bad of a player. Sure, he isn't the Kante or Ndombele but can do the job.

I am being too kind, hate his decision making and competence but love him as a person!

The more I think of it, the more I think that we should go after rabiot - bosman signing so fee (though massive wages), but he would be a young progressive signing and alongside torreira would give us a top midfield

You weren't supposed to own up to the Bayern comment.....I was letting that one go mate.

I'm not sure that you have made things any better with your latest comments.....I'm beginning to think that you are a bit of a closet Xhaka fan deep down :rubchin:

The I was off me tits excuse is still there if you need a lifeline
