Jose Antonio Reyes - RIP

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

First of the Invincibles we’ve lost and he was probably the youngest.

Absolutely tragic.

That is horrible news. RIP. Those two goals against Chelsea were wonderful and will always be a great memory.

Very sad, always thought he was going to be a very good player for us till Mike reilly let the neville sisters kick him off the park, never the same player after that.

Jesus that’s absolutely awful.

Always thought it was a great shame that things didn’t work out for a multitude of reasons.

Those goals against Chelsea were a thing of beauty. He also scored an important goal at Pompey in one of the last few games of the Invincibles season to keep us unbeaten and I fondly remember him hacking down Ronaldo at the death in the 2005 cup final.

Very sad news. Gone much too young. Seemed like a genuinely nice guy and was a bit sad for him that it went a bit pear shaped at Arsenal. Subsequently had a great career in Spain, La Liga win with Real Madrid and 5 Europa League wins, 3 with Emery. Condolences to his family. RIP J.A Reyes.

His debut was at home to City and the first thing he did when he came on as sub was a Cruyff turn.
Also scored a cracker when we were 3-1 down at home to Boro in the Invincibles season.
Shocking news
